Hideaway Gaming

I sold some Pokemon card that Ive had since i was a kid here. They were VERY fair with their prices and grading. Compared to other local stores the offed me substantially more. the community there at commander night was very open to new players and assisting me in my first week of playing.

I stopped by the new location the other day to check it out. It’s much more spacious than the previous location on the south side, and they still have a good selection of different games. Whether you’re looking for older games (think PS1 and older), or games like Magic the Gathering or Warhammer 40k, they have a decent selection. They also have some board games. I found the selection of MTG cards to be quite decent. It’s a nice addition to Holland as many of the old game stores seemed to disappear back in the day. Check them out if you’re looking for something game related.

Hideaway gaming is my favorite card shop by far!! They actually care about the hobbies and not just making money. They don’t over charge like most shops. The new spot is looking so good! The staff treats you like their friends! I always have a good time when I walk into Super Hideaway!

Not a bad stop to find cards you are looking for. However, almost every time I have gone in there has been a reason where I did not want to go back. On multiple occasions either the community or staff have been rude. Even if it was humor, you don't know me well enough to make certain jokes and it did not sit well. This last time going in was definitely my last time. They wouldn't even let me look at the playable cards for Pokemon. They said "I don't trust you grubby Pokemon players and your greasy fingers. You always mess up the order, so just tell me what you're looking for". Everywhere else in Holland has much friendlier staff and I have had way better experiences.

I came to this store for the first time 1 year ago looking for Pokemon singles for my kids. Now I'm in at least once a week trading in cards and checking out their new selection of Pokemon singles. The people that work here are so friendly and helpful, even when you don't know much and have a lot of questions. Their prices on singles and sealed product are easily the best in the area, and they give you a great value for any trade ins. If you're looking for that cozy, community based local game store, this is the place for you! A place where the hobby and the costumers truly matter.
