Hi-Score Video Games

Called to ask if they had Pokemon cards. The guy said yes they do carry Pokemon cards so I said oh okay awesome I'm looking for a specific card it's called Scorbunny from the illustration series 2 box set. The guy then proceeds to say well I don't know anything about Pokemon cards at all and we have a lot of Pokemon cards here so you would have to come in. Well no sir it doesn't work like that because I'm a paying customer and if you can't take any time to go look in the display case to find that one card that I would have been willing to drive to come and get it right now and purchase it with cash then maybe don't be in business? Is it really that hard to show a little customer service to go look for that card and then tell the person on the phone hey we either have that card or we don't have that card. I'm not going to waste my time driving almost a half an hour to find out they don't have a single card in stock that I was looking for wasting my entire trip.

Cool little shop with a nice selection of Pokémon singles, various tcg packs, and lots of retro and modern games. Great deals on movies too.

Great video game store! I got a GameCube controller from them but it had a small issue so I asked to trade it in with another and I got a new one that works great! The guy there was very nice and it’s great to have a store with lots of retro games very close to me. Would definitely go again!

Games priced decently well- no real "deals" unless you purchase a lot, then the owner and or employee working if you make decent chit-chat with will slightly give a %10 or so. TCG is market / 5% above market currently in 2026- retro games be aware a lot have re-printed cover-art, missing manuals- and always check your disks they will buff them if they were missed when taken in for free if you purchase the game- their 3for$10 is nice but 99% of those games are sports titles or titles that are very undesirable. Overall good experience.. find a hidden gem or 2 - 4-stars just based off the fact they could improve in some areas and they may want to canvas other retro stores and see what they are offering / selling and the deals or promos they offer. I understand 99% of them retro games and such are all from trade-ins but they could partner with XYAB and or others to provide cleaner game cases.

Huge thank you to the gentleman who tried to save my Xbox controller that my jerk cat spilled soda onto! Even though it was ultimately unable to be saved you did everything to ensure you could try to save it and sold me a used controller at a fantastic price! $40 is so much more reasonable than what GameStop sells used controllers for ($60-$70 for the colored ones which I prefer over the plain black/white ones). Highly recommend their cleaning/repair services as well as their used gaming equipment as the controller I bought today is working wonderfully!
