Honestly didn’t have the best experience. Came in here a couple months ago and asked the guy if they got any daredevil meets Jeff comics and he told me “we only order the comics people want” which is fine whatever but then as I’m looking through the $1 comic box he looks at my shirt which has Ariana grande on it and says “I don’t know why you’d even buy that shirt” idk if he was trying to be funny or what but I don’t think I’ll be going back. 👎

so here's what happened, 3 days ago I brought my comic books in to hog head comics and I met with the daughter of the owner, she told me that her dad would be back in a few hours to look through the comics and possibly buy them but then I had a family emergency that caused me to have to leave my comics there for 3 days so I left them there for 3 days and when I finally got back in town today I came to pick them up and called before I went and the owner told me that two guys with tattoos brought the comics that I was describing in and he told him he didn't want to buy any of them and they left with my comics. he described my exact comics in detail and then I told him well do you have any cameras so we can see who took the comics from the store and he said he had no cameras and that he didn't have my comics and I said that we would probably have to get the police involved because someone had stolen them apparently because they were gone but then I showed up in person went into the store to get the comics and he had my comics on the counter waiting and told me to get my comics and leave and that he didn't want to buy them and his daughter had misplaced them. nothing he said from the start made any sense and what I think happened is he thought I had left the comics to abandon them and thought he was going to get to keep all of them so when I finally called he made up a story so I wouldn't show up to get the comics. he was very angry and negative with me the entire time, he said I called him a thief which I never did I was just trying to get to the bottom of where my comics went and he belittled me and told me to get out to never come back for no reason because all I did was try to get to the bottom of where my items went and I'm making this review to warn anybody about doing any business here because this is the absolute worst business transaction involving collectibles I've ever had and I can't believe an owner of a comic book store could act this way and do this type of business but the business does look like it's struggling majorly and I think I know why at this point. you just can't do business like this you can't treat people this way and you can't try to take from others what isn't yours without paying for it and if you go here you're going to have some type of issues if it's if anything of good value or if anything happens to where you might have to leave it there for a couple days. he thought he was going to get to keep the comics, he made up a story to try to do so and it didn't work out for him and this is a very dishonest ridiculous individual that you will be dealing with. his daughter was very polite and nice so I don't know why I just got treated the way I did but it's something I'll never forget and people like this should not be running a business and trying to take advantage of others. nothing about what his story he told me made sense and I think he was upset that I was coming back for them and thought I had abandoned the comics. This is not a professional business and there is something wrong with the owner. I should have been a valued customer but instead I was belittled and talked to like trash. I deserve a formal apology from the owner for what he put me through today.

Great quiet little store. They have magic, Pokémon, comics, and more. If you are in the Fort Smith area. I suggest checking them out.

Don't let them try and price your pokemon cards. Also bad environment, tried to strike a conversation, got talked to like they didn't want to talk or waste time looking. The lady handled them with no care. Didn't matter if one card was 3 bucks and they don't use PriceChart which shows actual sells and pricing. I don't want it thrown down like a poker card. She flicked them down on the table with her finger which bent one slightly. I get it, not for you but the collection is from 1999 to 2002. Getting some graded now almost seems pointless because of how they were handled in the store. I won't go back, was mainly curious but I didn't seem wanted there honestly. Don't tell someone you take foreign Pokemon cards then not even look at them when I come back with them? Wasn't going to leave this review but, people need to go somewhere else for Pokémon. The owners should have said they mainly only buy magic cards.

Place is awesome. The owner even cooler. They had a lot of really great spawn comics and a nice little graded selection. Was able to pick up a few for Father's Day
