Guildhall Games

This place is amazing. So thrilled to see a game shop open in downtown Durham. Great and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff! Dog friendly which is huge plus. Loved seeing a variety of community members of all ages playing games in the back area. Huge library of games to play and very comfortable chairs if you’re staying for any gameplay. Will absolutely be back time and time again!!

Now in the center of Durham with a huge game space! I love board games and card games and how they bring people together and rip us away from our screens. These folks get it. Community, analog conversations, and an open spot at the table for all. The free game library to play while lounging is an awesome way to try out a new game and spend quality time with people. Their for sale board game selection is top notch. Well rounded with party games, ttrpg, children's games, and advanced strategy games. Absolutely great experience and well worth the visit.

Their new location is incredible fun and staff is amazing and kind! Had so much fun shopping for new games puzzles and fun trinkets and got to play free board games!

Fantastic independent game store in Boxyard. The people who work there are friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Bought a board game there on the recommendation of the person working, and when there was an issue with the game (not the fault of Guildhall at all) they went the extra mile to make it right. They're lovely!

I have been coming to Guildhall almost every month since February 2024 for the speed puzzling event. I continue to come because I really enjoy the puzzling community that has been built here AND the items in the store are incredibly cute! Add more cute puzzles, please!!! I would definitely buy! 😁
