GriffoNest

Awesome gamer haven in Woodstock, IL! My husband and I always look for places like this when we’re traveling around. Even if we don’t “need” anything. Support your local game stores!! The gentleman working today, who seemed like he may have been the owner, was so inviting and chill and I loved watching him interact with his clients. He was knowledgable, funny, kind, low pressure, made himself available for questions without being all up in your stuff. The pricing for all of his offerings seemed beyond reasonable. We bought some MTG and Pokemon cards but aside from that I saw about 15 tabletop games I’d buy on the spot. There are gaming tables galore, really nice bathrooms, and lots of parking nearby if not really walkable. Really cool place and now we’ll pop in every time we swing through Woodstock. Thank you!

These folks are the best! I've been going to griffonest since they were on rt.47 behind the snap fitness and have been pleased the entire time. Friendly staff, lovely owners, welcoming environment. Vote with your dollars and support small businesses these people deserve it.

GriffoNest is one of the best Local Game Stores around! The owner and his wife are frequently there working the counter and talking to customers, and they are super friendly. The selection of games is also outstanding. They have TCG, RPG, single player games, two player games, party games, and even some niche stuff like miniatures and paint! They will even special order something you want, if they don't have it. If you're looking for a game store with a unique selection of board and card games, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and fun events to join and play games with others from the community, this is the place to go.

As someone new to these games, the staff is helpful, friendly, and excited about what they have in stock. I do not feel intimidated or out-of-place. Every dumb question is answered like they're happy I'm there to ask. Also, the store is super nice and organized. Perfect experience.

GriffoNest Games is THE place to game in Woodstock! You can tell they’ve put a lot of time and effort into creating their family friendly fantasy gaming atmosphere. The employees are warm and inviting and eager to answer questions or help you find the game you’re looking for. They have amazing weekly events for many different games. Can’t say enough good things about them! 10/10
