If I could give them a ZERO, I would. Just called to inquire about some supplies and whether they might have a football card I was looking for. The person who answered (male ve gravity voice) didn't even say hello, just 'yeah' So I dont even know who I spoke with. Apparently they have no collecting supplies. I tried to inquire about a Mahomes RC. B4 I could even finish, he said to text my request. While I tried to confirm the text number, he hung up. EXTREMELY RUDE. I was trying to use a local business, rather than online. Well, you just lost a customer. Need to work in customer service. He didnt seem to care about my business.

Really sucky store!!! Guy wants to sit there and argue about a card i drew out of a Pokemon Center ETB and just because it didn’t have the stamp and i have a video to show him, he didn’t want to hear it and wanted to continue arguing over shit…. The owner needs to retrain his employees that the customer is always right when they have been collecting since the 90s…. Employing young people that dont have enough knowledge of Pokemon DONT BELONG IN A STORE LIKE THIS PERIOD!!! The owner and the girl in the store are the only ones that actually know what they are doing, but other than that avoid all times!!! They lowball on high end Pokemon cards and Sealed Products and RIP PPL OFF OF THEIR MONEY!!!!

It’s bad enough that the card collecting hobby is littered with scalpers and resellers as it is. Now we have this business here, that has distribution mind you, waiting outside of the Ross next door, going in and buying up all the Pokemon ETBs and prismatic bundles they get in. Oh it doesn’t stop at Ross, they hit the local Walmarts and targets as well buying up everything and circumventing the limits. It’s truly scummy that a LGS resorts to scalping practices. Instead of letting collectors and people who want to rip product buy items in stores for msrp, they want to buy it all and charge market just to make a quick buck. I expect more from a local business who should be wanting to help the TCG community not exploit it.

The Donald Trump of TCG (Not a compliment) I have been in the past and have gotten a stretchy vibe from them before, but have gone back because it is the closest card shop to me. I will no longer be going back because of my experience I just had. There was an 25th Anniversary ETB that was advertised $69.99 with a sticker which I know is probably not the right price, but regardless you should be abiding by your sticker prices. It’s not my fault as a customer that you made a mistake. The store associate that was helping me even said that the price on the box is the price I would be paying and I did process my payment. Then comes in the man that loves to call himself the King. He even wears a crown in-store. After I made my purchase he said that this isn’t right, grabbed the ETB and took it to the back. When he comes back out I asked him whats going on. He threatened to throw me out of the store because he thought I was scamming them. I told him I at least wanted my refund which he did give me, but not without a back and forth of me explaining how a business should be run. If something is advertised as a certain price, no matter what it is, it should be sold at that price. It sucks that a mistake was made by a shop owner, but mistakes happen all the time. That was even said by “The King” himself. I will not be going back and will take a little extra travel distance to have a better TCG experience. I wouldn’t be surprised if this man is upselling his products by at least 30%. Buyers beware. Donald Trump has taken a new form in Lake Mary.

Golden sports cards lake Mary. Met Tom & Kim (the owners) at the Ultimate Banger Card Show this past weekend. I showed them two larger slabs I was thinking about cracking into smaller slabs or raw singles. They both said they were interested, but explained it was the kind of deal they prefer to handle at the shop. They even took my name and number on their clipboard. Cool — no problem. Maybe they didn’t want to part with the inventory or capital they brought to the show. So I stop by the shop today. The sports card manager says Tom and Kim are both out, but since they said they were interested, he’d send them pictures and give them a call. He does… and Tom replies, “I have enough of that set, I’m not looking to buy more.” Which is the complete opposite of what he told me at the show. Not a big deal if you’re not interested — just say so and I’ll move on. But the runaround is unnecessary. While the manager was explaining what makes these slabs significant, I browsed the shop. Figured I’d share some of their bargains with you fine folks in case you ever plan to check them out: • Mega Evo Booster Box – $365 • Prismatic SPC (released at GameStop Friday for Double msrp at $199) is here for – $430 • Prismatic ETB – $185 • Prismatic Booster Box – $99 • 3-Pack Prismatic Poster Collection – $55 (nearly $20 a pack) • Surging Sparks ETB – $130 • Evolving Skies Booster Box – $3,000 -Destined rivals packs $15 / Phantasmal $12
