I normally don’t leave negative reviews, and I do want to say that most of the staff I interacted with were extremely nice. Unfortunately, this situation really messed up my day. I ordered trading cards for pickup because I was heading to a race and was hoping to get some of them signed. Since these particular cards are hard to find, this GameStop is one of the only places within about 30–40 miles where I can buy them in person. Before making the drive, I called and explained that I was on a time crunch. I was specifically told that the cards were there, that they were in the back, and that someone was grabbing them so they should be ready when I arrived. It took me roughly 30–45 minutes to get there. Once I arrived, I waited around another 20 minutes while they looked for them. I even purchased sleeves and top loaders because I expected to leave with the cards. I then went to grab lunch and came back about 15–30 minutes later, only to find out that the cards were apparently behind other merchandise or in a box that couldn’t be accessed at the time, and I was told I would just have to wait for an email. I understand that pickup orders normally aren’t guaranteed until you receive the confirmation email. My frustration is that I called first, explained exactly why timing mattered, and was told to come in because they were getting the order ready. Between the drive, waiting, leaving and coming back, and then having to drive another 45 minutes home without the cards, I lost a significant amount of my day and ultimately had to cancel the order. I’m not trying to bash the employees, because again, most of them were very kind. I just hope the staff is a little more careful about what they tell customers over the phone. If someone explains that they’re driving a long distance and are on a time-sensitive schedule, please don’t tell them an item is being retrieved and will be ready unless that’s actually the case. A simple honest answer would have saved me a lot of time and disappointment.

The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism here is insane. Dealt with two guys (Jason and a guy with dreads) and I TRIED to trade in some items for a Switch 2. After being there for 30min and not finding out the value of any of my items, I just left. I'm not even totally sure of what occured as I've never dealt with that level of dumb before. Also, they wouldn't take my iPad because "it's too new". It's a two year old iPad that Best Buy gave $310 for. I will never support this location again.

I placed an order online for 2 boxes of baseball cards and was told via email to pick them up after 12pm that day. I arrived at the store after 12pm and the cashier told me he would have to get through the other people in line first and then he would START on the order and that it would take him THIRTY MINUTES to get my 2 boxes of baseball cards "ready". I cancelled the order and went to Dicks and had them in my hands 5 minutes later. Did Gamestop forget how orders work? Anybody can just TAKE an order. Gamestop just doesn't seem to know how to FULFILL an order. And that's really the most important part. The FULFILLING.

rude employees snapped at me that I felt offended by needing to show ID to return a video game which I had brought the packaging and package slip and return email needed to return it which never said anything about needing ID anyway, and I will never be returning there or buying anything else in GameStop and I would’ve canceled my online order, but it had already shipped very rude. Very disrespectful. People been shopping in GameStop since I was a boy been shopping at this location way before it moved from the other side of the building and this person should’ve been terminated for this ridiculous display of arrogance. this employee is like literally a teenager and I’m almost a middle-age man. I’m not going to take disrespect from some little boy like this at this happened. Somewhere else. I definitely would’ve put hands on this little rascal for disrespecting me. The Customer is always right has turned into treat everyone like a criminal even if they’re there in person with all evidence needing that they just want to return. It really is sad. This is why I would only online Shop, but that has his own issues. Honestly, I just wanted to buy some video games. I don’t know why why I need to be treated like this. This is literally worse than the police.

I purchased a used game and was really disappointed by the condition it was sold in. The disc was visibly dirty and grimy, as if it hadn’t been cleaned or inspected at all. Used doesn’t mean unsanitary. I expect a basic level of quality control, especially from a major retailer like GameStop. Hoping this gets addressed so other customers don’t have the same experience.
