GameStop - 7816 - Princeton SWM

Went in today and rob was super nice and friendly helped me figure out what was wrong with my controller! This is probably the best employee there , I’ve had another guy I don’t know his name but he was not very helpful and it’s been the last couple months I’ve been waiting for a different employee to be there that actually knows how to help !

3:20pm, 24April2026 I went in to buy a couple of games for my kids and to get a PS5. There was a black guy and an Asian guy working there. The black guy seemed cool and answered my questions no problem. When he left, the Asian guy had horrible customer service. I asked about the PS5 and he would answer with an attitude. I let it go. When I was ready to checkout and told him I would like to buy a PS5, he just looked at me with a blank stare quietly. Walked slowly to the back irritated. I was just about to leave, when the other guy came back and was more willing to help. As soon as the Asian guy came back with the PS5 nothing changed. Attitude still there, no info about any of the games as far as protection, just standing there with a clueless look. I’ve been going to this location for about a year and this was the first time where the customer service was horrible. I would think me being the only customer, buying an expensive console and games for another console I bought from this store, he would be excited because of what he gains from it.

Went in to trade in my PS5 Slim and other things for a PS5 Pro before the Sony price hikes, and Jayden was extremely kind and helpful. He was the only employee in the store juggling my trade in along with all of the other in store customers. Never had a bad attitude and maintained kindness and professionalism the entire time even though it got a little hectic for a minute. Made sure I got the best deal

This used to be a good Gamestop. It's been going downhill for awhile, and we just had the last straw. My wife just got back into collecting Pokémon so we went to check out their selection about a week ago. We found some Prismatic Evolutions tins. My wife grabbed 3 that she liked and we went to the counter. The kid ringing us up says "okay, that'll be $45"... we both look at him, stunned. The label and barcode on the tins says $10.99. I ask him how he came to that price (even with my $5 monthly reward). He said they're $15.99/each.. not $10.99 and that "someone didn't do their job correctly" so he went in MANUALLY and changed the price to $15.99 even though they rang up at $10.99. My Wife went back and forth with this kid and he ended up calling us scalpers! He said we were going to go and resell them for double the price. Mind you, there were about 10 tins. My wife grabbed 3. On top of all this, he ended up STEALING 10,000 POINTS FROM MY PRO ACCOUNT!! Come to find out, he didn't use my $5 reward, he took 10k of my points and NEVER REFUNDED THEM when we told him to get bent and didn't buy anything. I asked him multiple times before we left if he had put the points back in my account. He assured me he did... he did not. Stay away from this garbage establishment. They are the actual scalpers. Charging more than secondary market prices for items is disgusting. Scalpstop called us scalpers! Hahahahahahahahaha. Can't make this stuff up man. Wow.

I want to give a HUGE shout out to Logan M! He was soooo helpful! He assisted me with trading in my Nintendo Switch and getting a new one! He helped me from start to finish. I am not a tech savvy person and he helped me transfer my info to my new Nintendo Switch 2! I am so happy with my purchase! He was very kind and patient! He was also very knowledgeable! Please keep him around! He deserves a raise and a promotion! Keep up the great work Logan M.! You are a rockstar! This was my first time at this store and I will be back. Thanks again Logan M.!
