GameStop - 764 - York Marketplace

Preordered Blood of the Dawnwalker and a new girl put my Preorder in as PC after I specifically told her it was for PS5. When I went to pick it up on Thursday the 3rd, I was told that the error occurred in my pre order. It had to be canceled and as such i lost my pre order bonus. Im a little more than upset. Im disappointed that this occurred and was told I have to contact corporate and since its a holiday weekend, i wont be able to reach them until Tuesday after Labor Day. I shouldn't have to check my recipt to make sure that someone dies their job after specifically telling them what system im preordering for. Only reason Im not leaving 1 star is because instead of just being told Im screwed i was told to contact corporate to see if there was anything that could be done. Come Tuesday through this rating could change depending on the outcome.

We had an amazing experience trading in some old games and figurines with Wyatte today. He was an absolute pleasure and a super patient guy! Customer service is never easy, and I'm thankful that we got exactly what we were looking for, and a nice chat to go with it. Thank you Wyatte!

Manager was super cool and treated me well. Pokémon stock was great for release day. DO NOT COME HERE or to ANY GameStop to buy cards. They charge *at least* 50% above retail. Some products cost 4x MORE than retail. Horrible business practices.

I found a game for my PS4 for $7 which was awesome but the main reason my husband & I were there were for cards which the website states was in stock. When my husband asked where they were, rather than being helpful they said we don’t know when they’ll be in. Not even trying to help him look or see if anything was in the back. Felt dismissive. Their personal conversation too was highly inappropriate and the amount of cursing just amazed us…. It’s a small space & not too many people were inside.

Yo, Gamestop is W for getting games or controllers or consoles. BUT the pokémon card prices are insane. MSRP for one of the boxes is 120 (MSRP stands for suggested retail price what ever the pokémon company sells it for) But this box that MSRPs for 120 they are selling for 200... And thats not all. All there proudct has crazy prices. Almost all new product is now double the price. Hope Gamestop can change this soon.
