GameStop - 7615 - The District at South Jordan

My girlfriend and I were on the hunt for a specific Pokemon plush. While we didn't find it here, Melissa, the store manager was extremely helpful and found us a location nearby that had the plush! Thanks to her, our hunt is over. Thank you!

The girl who helped me and my partner today around 12pm was awesome! The store was very busy and she handled everyone super professionally completely alone! We had some games to trade in and bought ourselves a Switch and she couldn’t have been more helpful throughout everything.

If you like getting pressured into buying memberships and protection plans, this place is amazing! Otherwise, avoid it at all costs. The manager literally stopped talking to me when I declined the 2 year protection on my games. She looked pissed. What kind of establishment is this, where you make the people buying your products feel bad for not buying your other products?

A well designed layout, and they actually have trading cards u like seeming ever other Gamestop in the state. Unfortunately, I'm dropping to 4 stars because they encourage scalping. I didn't even know what was in the latest Pokémon set; we just like the art and collect the cards. They asked me if I wanted a specific card, told them I don't know that's in there, and they go on to tell me the highest priced cards. They don't care about the average consumer, let alone someone who might actually play the card game. They just want you to buy all the cards so they get their revenue, urging you to try and draw the stupidly expensive cards. They even told me, "We grade cards!" And shoved a paper with all the details intp my hand. Ehat about me saying, "I have no idea what's in this set," pegged me as someone who gave a poop? Too many grown adults already buy all the packs, leaving none for the average enthusiast or, goodness forbid, some kids who just want to see or play the new Pokémon cards. Dropping one more star because they didn't so much as look at me until I approached the counter with my card pack. They only had one other customer there, and for a couple employees, they could have been decent like other Gamestops I've been to.

Jordan needs to be in charge! Jordan has helped me every time at this GameStop and every time, not only do I walk away feeling like I got the best value for my games, but inspired. Jordan is clearly passionate about games and helping people and I just hope Jordan can be recognized for their great ideas and perspectives while also having such an eye for customer service.
