This Gamestop is awful. Today I attempted to buy a game from this location. I stood at the counter for 15 minutes while the manager and the employee beyond the counter ignored me. The employee made sure that all the customers in line knew they were off at 4:30. The manager talked about how they weren't even supposed to be on the floor yet and complained about the hourly system the company used to track payroll. If you aren't clocked in why are you distracting the employees who are supposed to be helping people? The manager was also in plains clothes. He didn't look like he even worked there. I will be reaching out to corporate about this as this is not the first time I've encountered issues at this location. If this is how Gamestop's management treats customers they deserve to fail as a company. I refuse to ever use this location again and will be cancelling my Pro-account membership.

I have been here probably 5 times and every time was the worst retail experience I’ve ever had. Maybe I haven’t dealt with everybody there, but every single employee I have seen was socially inept and incompetent. Not a hello when you walk in, not a conversation when you’re checking out, just silence up until you’re about to check out when they pester you endlessly about renewing your membership. Zero situational awareness either. You can be standing there for 10 minutes before someone finally comes up to the register and helps you out. They spend the day just talking to each other and ignoring customers or sometimes they’ll be blatantly arguing with each other angrily. Customer base is huge, smells awful, and is also socially inept. I had a couple stand out experiences. One day I came in and brought 2 games up to buy. One pre-owned and one new. This is important information. The guy rang me up and said my pro membership was expiring and asked if I wanted to renew it. I politely declined, to which he asked, “are you sure?” To which I said “Positive.” What I assume was the manager then came up and asked “Well, are you really sure?” He proceeded to look at the games that I was buying and asked the clerk ringing me up if we had my pre-owned game in stock new, and he said no. Then the manager turns to me and goes, “if you put this one back and get a new game your pro membership would only be 10 dollars to renew.” At that point I couldn’t believe my ears and just said “I think I’m gonna just buy what I picked out.” And the manager just hurried off into the back room. Absolutely insane. Few days later, I go back again because I wanted to sell a couple of my games. Scanned one of them and was told they couldn’t take it cause they didn’t have the SKU for it. Weird, because you can just make one and offer me money then, but whatever. Other game I wanted to sell retails for 50 dollars used and I was offered 12 dollars for it, I understand you have to make margins, but that was just ridiculous. I go to walk out, and I cannot make this up, I’m halfway out the door and the guy starts yelling across the store asking if I want to renew my membership. How tone deaf can these people be? I’ve spent so much money between GameStops and have spent a lot on the membership. Haven’t had an issue anywhere. What is being bred in this store, and why is the unprofessionalism so widely accepted here?! Feel like my time and money has been under appreciated.

This is the type of retail experience I'm looking for. Professional, information, empathetic, but nost od all, the representative. He went above and beyond. You know what, great but I Epelexct that. Problem is, we rarely get it. I did, and I like it.

If I could give 0 stars I would! You're website says you have games that you don't even have! You guys are bogus! And then the guy gives some crap about their website is down and they don't have the game that their website clearly said they had! I was looking right at the website and it said you had it! So stop bullcrapping people or fix you inventory! Wouldn't have been a big deal if I didn't drive 2 freaking hours to your freakin store!!! Incompetence at its best in this store!!

Very bad experience at the Grape Rd store, I called for 3 days multiple times trying to get a hold of someone over the phone and when I finally did the guy was very rude to me, I told him I had an account and because he couldnt find it right away he told me I didnt have one and argued with me over it, I had him on speaker phone so even the person that heard was shocked how he was talking to me, I told him I just purchased an item a couple days ago prior to that with my account so then he was very short with me and condescending, I told him he was being very rude and he told me he was not, not sorry im not trying to, just no he wasn't, why would I tell someone they were being rude if they were not? After telling me I did not have an account and being rude he finally found my account and changed his tune.. I will never go into that Game Stop again I will drive 30 mins more if I have to, I have never had this issue with any other game stop, I understand not answering the phone when your busy, but then getting rude with the customer and acting like im a problem when I just need assistance when thats your job that your getting paid for to help me is not ok, yeah no your in the wrong Job then buddy, I would never make someone feel like that who just needs assistance, shame on you Mr, shame on you..
