Itzel, to be exact, definitely needs some training in customer service. It seemed like she hated her job. Every question we asked was answered with an annoyed or bothered attitude, which made the experience very uncomfortable. Customer service should feel welcoming and helpful, and unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience with her.

I am unhappy with gamestop vacaville. I went to see how much I can resale my ninetendo switch great condition, plus 2 additional controllers. So a total of 4 controllers. They offered me $75 cash. Ridiculous. But thats not really my issue, my issue is the young women with purple hair who works there. She is very rude! Has no personality. You are working in customer service, she needs to learn to treat people better. There was a young white kid with curly hair, he was great. He had great customer service. Management you should train your employees better. People come to your store to spend their hard earned money and shouldn't have to deal with rude customer service. I won't be going back to that Gamestop.

Sunny and Itzel were the best at helping me complete my trade in. Sunny had such a fun demeanor and even though the store was closing soon and they had a lot of trade ins to complete they were able and willing to help me out. Itzel came in midway through the transaction and helped their employee out and they both were just so funny! Great atmosphere with them both!

I came in to buy a switch 2 and lucky me they had one left in stock! Joshua rang me up and I asked if I could see the box and he kinda just stared at me… I then asked what all comes in it and he told me “your standard console stuff” like bro I wanna know what accessories I need. After I paid for it he went and grabbed it from the back. 2 stars because they have cool plushies, baseball cards, and other collectibles.

Avoid this place at all costs! I traded in an old Xbox, three controllers, and several games and used the store credit to purchase what I was told was a brand-new PS5 controller. When I got home, I noticed the packaging was torn in multiple places and the original factory seal had clearly been removed and replaced with a different sticker. The controller’s color also didn’t match what was shown on the box. I immediately returned to the store to exchange it, only to be told they wouldn’t allow a return or exchange because I had opened the box—even though it was obvious the package had already been opened before I bought it. (They two ladies acknowledged and admitted it was ripped when they sold it to me and claimed the multiple tears on the box were from putting it on the sales rack - which is an absolute joke). The only option offered was another trade-in for $15 on a controller I had just purchased for $79.99 less than two hours earlier. It’s clear I was sold a pre-owned or previously opened controller as new, and GameStop refused to stand behind the product. I feel completely taken advantage of and ripped off and will not be shopping here ever again. Buy your games elsewhere—this place is a rip-off and doesn’t stand behind what it sells. Try Walmart or Target they will still be in business years from now and will let you return/exchange - unlike GameStop.
