Went in for a 360 game, all I really cared about was the disc was in good shape. Clerk hastily puts game in case and proceeds to charge me for it, so I take it out to look and its in poor condition lol I asked what the return policy was and he just says thats what the protection policy is for without mentioning first there's 7 day return window. Dude was a dick about it the whole time

Really rude staff. One was legitimately busy processing a large order while the other was screwing around on his phone and talking to a customer hanging out in the card section. Once he started actually helping customers he was just rude and calling customers stupid loudly enough to be heard across the entire store. We just left to avoid the drama, honestly paying more at Walmart is worth the illusion of customer service.

I have never had a bad experience at this Game Stop. It’s actually the friendly and knowledgeable staff that keep me coming back! The manager always goes above and beyond, his customer service is top notch and not what you find now a days at stores. He trouble shot a ps4 that I bought from their website for my kids for Xmas and then exchanged it out for me. It was such a relief to have it all taken care of so quickly, especially right before Xmas.

Went to trade in an old Xbox, was told it takes hours to test everything, so I left because at the time I didn’t have the time. Came in later the same day and waited for almost an hour and half just to be told that they couldn’t test my trade because it was missing an adapter. They took some games and gave me $7. I was told I needed to buy a cord to make the Xbox worth anything. Figured I’d order it since they said the trade was worth more than the cord. Waited for the cord to get delivered then go into store, their system is down, told to come back the next day. Went in today and the guy today says they can’t take it even with the cord because it’s dirty. I tell him that I was told just a few days before that they would take it. He said sorry must’ve been a temp hire guy. So I’m mad, waiting for him to figure it out and I see my games for sale for $10 each after they gave me $1. I live out of town so coming to this store 4 times just to end up being told no is frustrating. Train your employees to be consistent, if the first guy would have been up front then I wouldn’t have ordered some stupid cord from Amazon and came in to town two days in row. So not only did I get nothing, I’m on the hook to do the return of the cord that’s useless to me now. I don’t normally go to GameStop and it’s for this exact reason. Go somewhere else local for your gaming needs if you want customer service.
