GameStop - 666 - Great Northeast Plaza

I was turned away because I didn't "reserve" PS5 Halo and told to come back "in 2 days." This is the second time recently. First I was turned away a few weeks ago on Starfox release day to pick up elsewhere and told to come back in "2 days." As a 20+ year customer and a former employee this wasn't an issue "until recently" to pick up a game on day 1. I have plenty of reservation pickups on my account. But I don't always reserve. Requesting a wave of multiple "mystery shops" to be performed "around new releases especially at this location" to make sure policy is being followed and/or that store is stocked properly. If someone wants to follow up, I also have the time stamp I was turned away for cameras. Please fix this. No one likes to waste their time, gas money and "excitement" of picking up a new game from "GameStop."

Quite possibly the worst store Iv ever been to. I don’t usually write bad reviews but this place caused me so much headache I kinda have too. Like first off don’t bother calling the won’t answer. Called for a hour… finally decided to drive there after waiting hours for an online in store pick up… to be told they dont have it. Like you could have saved me the trip in so many ways. Picking up the phone or cancel the order… nope. When i pulled ip they where busy dabbin up there boys… out side the store. Theres other stuff too… like how i have to wait for the refund multiple days.. quick to take my money slow to give it back

I was told over the phone that the chaos rising pokemon promo cards would be first come first serve regardless of pre orders. When I arrived and was time to check out I was told they were restricted to pre orders only, I then asked another employee to confirm only to be literally yelled and scolded over asking. A man with a large beard and tattoos was saying stuff like "You had 3 months to figure this out maybe you should've pre ordered" and "Don't talk to me about what's fair and what's not" I was attempting to de escalate his emotions by apologizing and kept saying I was just asking a question I wasn't trying to argue, so his response was? If you guessed keep insulting the customer you guessed correctly I had to scream out "Okay dude it's over" for it to actually be done, also the fact that every employee including the man in this review all went outside and smoked marijuana in front of customers which I plan to report to HR and also the proper authorities, Good luck.

Witnessed the suspected manager (Guy in a black Pokémon polo shirt, glasses, cap and tattoos) be extremely rude to a misinformed customer. I understand the frustration however the customer kept apologizing and the manager kept escalating the situation over a promo card even after the customer just stopped talking and apologizing and shut down. Very unprofessional and had a line held up due to the situation. Also had witnessed this Manager decided to drink alcohol and smoking while being on the clock but just outside the doors. I feel bad for the customers as they had even given him a full art for free. Just extremely rude dude.

They got good stuff. But Ive looking at a book bag that came off its security spot and young male came out the back asked the man at the counter rushed to what we where viewing. The man at the counter rushed out to get us saying what you need unlocked like if we were going to steal it. I will never support this store again for a second time after i left the first time wow i sire felt welcomed and appreciated thank no thanks. My daughter and i were viewed as thieves shitty customer service.
