I live in Tennessee and was attempting to go to some stores for the midnight release for the pokemon Ho-Oh promo. Thursday i go to a store and they tell me If I show up at midnight and buy product I will be able to get one. So I show up 2 hours early and find out they are now saying I need to have pre ordered something. This was Lebonon gamestop in tennesssee. So misleading to tell me one thing and then when I show up im told I cant get the item anymore. Seems like complete bullshit considering there is no mention on the flyers that you have to pre order and it was not mentioned at all when I was previously at the store that day. Unacceptable behavior to be telling customers one thing and then changing it once they show up.

Go see Mo at the Lebanon GameStop! He will take care of and possibly teach you something haha. Mo went above and beyond to educate and guide us on our purchase. Outstanding customer service!

The staff were very helpful and polite. This is one of the few GameStop location's with retro games and consoles. Worth checking out!

Placed an online order for a controller to pick up. Got an email 30 minutes later saying it was cancelled. I called the store, and was told due to the upcoming snowstorm, all shipping items were cancelled. I told the guy that it was pickup, and he said he was closing in about an hour since the snow had just started. I said, okay, I'm on my way right now. That call ended at 10:09am. I arrived at 10:30am as the employee shut the store's shutters in my face. I don't blame GameStop for wanting to close early due to the building snow, but THEN DON'T TELL ME TO DRIVE UP TO THE STORE. Just tell me no, we're closing. Or call me back and tell me you're closing earlier than expected. Anything. Absolute lack of any concept of professionalism or critical thinking from that employee, but I guess that's why he's working at Gamestop.
