GameStop - 6410 - Harlem Irving Mall

Major shout out to the GameStop inside the Harlem Irving Mall, especially Gabriel and GameStop staff you are truly setting the bar for excellence when it comes to regards to customer service professionalism, and willingness to love your neighbor as you love yourself as Jesus taught. I had searched all day for these items at various GameStop’s for my daughter and for myself and you guys thankfully had these items in stock. I can’t begin to express how truly grateful that I am that you had these items and that you were able to hold them for me if I could give 1 million stars I would. Apologies it took me a while to post this post. I was a little backlogged. I bought these items September 26, 2025 unfortunately right after that I had a family funeral in which I had to drive cross-country to California so I do apologize for the delay for posting the review, but I hunted down the receipt and was determined to give you guys credit for the awesome job that you did because I truly did search the entire city and you guys were the only location that had it and willing to hold for me God bless you and Thank you!

I went in to purchase pokemon cards for my boyfriend and they asked if i wanted $5 off my purchase for MAKING AN ACCOUNT. I said no problem! Gave them my phone number name and address, they asked for my ID i told them i did not have it. I figured it was for spelling purposes for my name. I was not told i would be signing up for a $25 auto renewal PRO MEMBERSHIP. I went back in to ask for a refund and since i purchased a non refundable item i was not allowed one, he said I asked if you would wanted the $5 off and you said yes. I said yeah but in reality i WILL NOT EVER be coming back here so i paid $20 more so now what… and he said well you gave me your id, i said no i didn’t??? i didn’t have my id and i paid apple pay… absolutely unbelievable and i will be disputing with my bank… i work in management sales & retail so i know how this works, i was never once asked about a membership, subscription ANYTHING. I will be reaching out to someone higher up as well.

This is the only GameStop where I actually feel like I’m being harassed about the Pro Memberships. Your staff members try to sneak additional things onto the bill at the end like the protection plan, the pro membership. And thy treat you like you are insane for not wanting to tack 25 dollars onto your bill at the end. Just let me buy my games like any other GameStop, and GO. It makes your guests feel super uncomfortable and put off to shop at this location. Just awful

Amazing selection of games and collectibles! I always find something exciting here. The customer service is fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to offer great suggestions. Definitely a top spot for any gaming enthusiast!

TRASH… WAITED 4 HOURS TO PREORDER A NINTENDO SWITCH 2…. WENT TO PICKUP JUST NOW…. EVERYONE HAS TO WAIT IN A LONG LINE AGAIN EVEN WITH PREORDERS!!! TO SHARE A LINE WITH PEOPLE WITHOUT PREORDERS IS RIDICULOUS…. LEFT WITHOUT THE SWITCH… HAVE TO TRY AGAIN TOMORROW… BECAUSE WE ONLY HAVE 48 HOURS… NEVER AGAIN WITH THIS LOCATION…. MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE… YOU CAN’T HAVE 4 PEOPLE WORKING AND 2 PEOPLE AT THE DOOR…
