Went to pickup my graded card submission that was sent in at the end of December today. I was sent an email yesterday saying they were ready for pickup. Made the drive into town, grabbed a few sealed packs and went to the counter. Just to be told their computers aren’t working so she can’t give me the cards. Even though I already paid for them, and can easily prove their mine. Then proceeded to ask if I still wanted to purchase the sealed cards. So wait, your system is working well enough to sell me cards but not give me the ones I paid for already? Employees in the store had no answer for me, and said I could try calling tomorrow to speak to the manager, but they don’t know if he’ll actually be in tomorrow or not. So basically my cards are there, I have no idea when I’ll be able to pick them up, and my trip into town today was a waste of gas not getting my cards OR any answers/resolution. Really poor customer service. Already cancelled my PRO account and won’t ever be using GameStop for anything again. Didn’t even ask for my information and say “we’ll reach out when we have an answer for you”. Just, “try calling tomorrow and the manager who may or may not be here, may or may not be able to help you.”

GameStop has changed a lot over the many many many many many years it's been around, in order to survive they have had to adapt and look very different than they did when I was a youngster. That being said they consistently seem to do a good job especially at the Wasilla store and having knowledgeable friendly and upbeat staff, before anything else that matters a lot. I always really enjoy being greeted by and talking to the employees at the Wasilla GameStop. As far as purchases are concerned, it is a great place to buy trading card and other toys at this point. They have good items like controllers, consoles, and other peripherals. Of course they still sell video games but as downloads take over that is going the way of the dinosaurs. The people in the store, and the people who manage it are what make this place special.

Bought a 200$ dual sense edge pro controller and a 40$ warranty went home and fresh out the box the grips where pealing and it had stick drift so I brought it back for an exchange and they made me use my warranty to replace it I have a pro account two so naturally when the replacement started shocking me via the metal programmable back pedals I called them for a replacement just to be denied cause I no longer had my warranty dude to the initial exchange needless to say PlayStation is replacing it under there 1 year warranty and I will not be useing game stop anymore

I purchased a refurbished controller and brought it home. Was not given a receipt, didn't think I needed it anyway since I trusted that my controller would have worked. Charge port and headphone jack was defective. Brought it in to swap with another and said couldn't take it. Also said they couldn't look it up. Wanted to give me 15 dollars for something I just paid 50 for. Will never give my money to game stop again, they are true to there bad name. Buy your stuff elsewhere. O
