1 Star This has been, without question, the worst shopping experience I have ever had. I purchased a Nintendo Switch 2 through GameStop’s website and paid extra for same-day delivery because a friend was in the United States for only a few days and would bring the console back to me. GameStop failed to deliver the order and later informed me that it had been marked as undeliverable. Instead of offering a practical solution, such as in-store pickup, they canceled the order. I then waited several days for my refund, despite explaining that my friend was about to leave the country. The refund finally arrived as virtual gift cards on the very day of his departure. My friend rushed to a GameStop store to purchase the console, but the store associate refused to accept the virtual gift cards, even though customer support repeatedly stated that they could be used in-store. Because there was no time to visit another location, he had to pay nearly $500 out of pocket. Now I am back in my home country with almost $500 locked in GameStop gift cards that I cannot realistically use. Customer support continues to send generic responses without reading the case history or taking responsibility for the series of mistakes that led to this situation. I have provided receipts, videos, purchase history, gift card numbers, and every document they requested. Despite all this, they still refuse to issue a refund to my bank account. The entire problem was caused by GameStop’s own failures, yet I am the one paying the price. I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

What exactly is the function of this GameStop? A few weeks ago I came to this GameStop for a PlayStation 5 pro, they didn’t have. I came today for a copy of crimson desert on the PS5, they didn’t have. I came for a copy of Mafia Old country, they didn’t have. So what exactly does a GameStop excel at? Is this the reason they are going out of business, struggling to obtain games and systems to sell? It’s like McDonald’s not having burgers At this point

I was here on Sunday (3/23/25) and didn’t understand why the sign was there before closing, but when the guy came to open the door, he helped us and other 2 sets of groups. We ended up not buying anything but they were so rude to the gentlemen behind the counter who appeared to be fighting illness. It’s important to give employees in this kind of place some grace. Although I couldn’t trade in my games because the machine was down, this GameStop staff is usually mellow and knows their stuff about trading cards and gaming
