Joe is awesome! He took in my trade with no issues and got me a great deal on a Xbox Series X, he even let me pick which console I wanted out of the case.

Rae was super helpful when I brought my Nintendo 3DS and copy of Pokemon Moon in. She tested multiple games, including her own personal games and Nintendo 3DS, to try to figure out why I couldn’t play Pokemon Moon on my 3DS, but it worked on hers. Turns out I was missing my SD card. Rae showed me several different options and explained how each of them would work and what she uses in her own 3DS. Super appreciate all the time she spent and everything she tried to help me get back to gaming!

It seems that they’ll just take anything on trade in, not bother to clean it, and barely test their consoles before turning around and selling them again. Then, give you 7 days to exchange if you don’t spend even more for a longer warranty that should be included for systems that they don’t bother to clean before selling. I had to exchange my console, only to get another with a torn power cord, a disgusting controller, a console full of dust and grime, and deep scratches all over the black plastic both on back and front. And, they apparently can’t just return the entire thing altogether. The one good thing was that another employee in Peru did his best to clean out that console, and swap the controller. But that swapped controller had marks that clearly show it’s been dropped. Yes they’re used consoles, but to ask what they’re asking for the condition they push these things in is ridiculous.

This GameStop exemplifies professionalism combined with fun. I was surprised that GameStop offered PSA grading on trading cards, but it was an incredibly pleasant surprise. I have loved GameStop because of its trade in for video games and keeping the physical media ecosystem alive. This new aspect of GameStop was an amazing customer experience! They made me feel welcome and explained the process, but also encouraged me as a collector. Mark, Joe, and Andy are amazing and a wealth of knowledge!!
