i went in today for the free pokemon promo card and the lady working said “we’re requesting you purchase any pokemon tcg product to get the promo” even though i had heard they were free. i didn’t want any of their wildly overpriced pokemon products but they had some MLP cards i wanted so i asked if it would be okay if i just did that. the woman working gave me the WORST attitude and was like “absolutely NOT. you have to purchase pokemon cards to get it.” and scanned my mlp and was prepared to send me on my way with no promo…. meanwhile the official gamestop social media is advertising these as free !!! i already hate gamestop for what they’re doing to pokemon, but this crappy interaction really solidified that i will never come back to this store.

Called to ask about the resident evil controller holder. The manager said he's never heard of it before. And to check the GameStop website. Why do you think I'm calling? Because it's on the website. Infoeaw they hire just anyone these days.

This is more barking at corporate or whoever forces the employees to push the rewards program. Stop. Please stop. There’s nothing worse than having a long day, trying to relax and running into a non-skippable in real life advertisement. I understand it must be asked once, twice, or three times. I encourage management to take the first no as an answer out of courtesy for people’s time. Please and thank you

I ordered a DBZ figure i really wanted to pick up in store. They held it for less than a few hours before cancelling my order for "not picking it up". I really want to give gamestop my business but it feels like they really don't want it.

Came here to see whether some items that I was looking were there but they didn’t!… but the staff was very friendly and nice as well as telling me when the next stock is coming! Twas the biggest GameStop Ive ever been to, space wise!
