GameStop - 5583 - Shops On Redwood

Smells like feet. Everything takes forever. Card prices are outrageous and near criminal. The website says they have games they don't have. Horrible.

Worker was nice and was patient and helped me find what i was looking for recommend going here it's awesome.

I stopped by the Taylorsville GameStop to pick up a few graded cards. There was only one customer checking out and two employees working, one of whom appeared to be the manager. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was an inconvenience. The manager never greeted me, sighed when I asked for help, and then left me standing there for several minutes while looking at her iPad. She never even looked up or acknowledged me. It was one of the most awkward customer service interactions I’ve ever had. I’m honestly surprised someone with this attitude is managing a store. Customer service starts with a simple hello and basic courtesy. Instead, I was treated like I was interrupting her day. GameStop needs to provide this location with some customer service training. I’ll gladly shop at another location because I won’t be returning to this one.

Really cool store with lots of selection on games used and new! They have lots of product and even have trading card game stuff like Lorcana and magic. They have card sleeves, card protectors and booster/starter packs. The guy helping us look for our games was super friendly, patient and informative! He said hello to everyone that entered and even dug into the depths of all the switch games to find us a game we really wanted. I feel bad because we didn’t end up getting it because the price didn’t match what we saw online (our faults we were looking at the wrong game) but in the end he was friendly and helpful!

Most Gamestops are the same, but this one is special. I have 3 Gamestops close to my house, and I always choose to go to this one. Jerry has been personable, knowledgeable, and the reason I keep coming back. I have pre-ordered many Funko pops, and I have bought many video games from this store. I have yet to have a bad thing to say about the place. It's clean, organized and it's one of my favorite spots to come in when we are running errands or just want to browse. Thank you Jerry and team for making this a great place to shop!
