GameStop - 5346 - Meridian Crossroads

I called around 2 o'clock in the afternoon, at least a dozen times and got no answer. I eventually drove over and two guys were just standing behind the counter, talking. The phone rang while I was there and they let it ring without picking it up. While paying for my purchase, I was badgered with purchasing protection for it and setting up and paying for a new GameStop account. You obviously don't give a crap about customer service.

Jay (cool guy with nice Flash nails) was super duper helpful and nice. Went out of his way to answer all my questions and very patient with me while I decide on my purchase. Favourite GameStop in Idaho.

Okay, went in this morning for trades and cards. Me and the single Employee present (Eric something) seemed to be tired and still waking up (nice anyways) no issues . Store got busier and by the time I was ready to check out. He then proceeded to give me the best GameStop experience I’ve had so far. He informed me of deals I was unaware of, was fast moving the line AND helping me. He got me a new membership which saved me money, and deals, talked me into a preorder and I left so stoked and with a HUGE bag full of stuff I wanted and couldn’t afford. Please keep Eric happy and around, he’s now the reason I’ll return to this location from now on.

Came in around 6 today to get some headphones for my new ps5 system, and both the employees today were so sweet!! They were engaging, talkative, and intentional with everyone, I could tell they really cared! I’ve had a lot of bad experiences at other gamestops with me being a ‘girl gamer’ and people have made me feel super unwelcome and judged in these spaces, and I didn’t feel that at all here. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get their names but if those employees are reading this- I really appreciate you guys! Thanks for helping me out and nerding out about spiderman and daredevil with me!

I bought a used PlayStation 5 controller from this GameStop about two months ago and paid for the protection plan because it was used. The controller completely stopped turning on and connecting with my PS5. When I returned to use the plan, the manager claimed there was no record of the controller purchase, even though they had records of everything else I bought that same day. They also forgot to give me the game disc that day, which I had to pick up later the next day. Instead of honoring the protection plan, they offered me $10 for a $60 controller that I paid for. In the end, the controller was so unusable I gave it back, and they gave me nothing in return. All I wanted was for them to honor the protection plan and exchange it for a working controller.
