GameStop - 5333 - Statesboro

The manager did not look at the warranty we had cause it where we could not replace our items. For this, this game stop is not a good one to go to if you need help with anything or need to replace anything. I am also pretty sure it was the manager that we had our problem with.

I forgot to take photos, but we come sometimes to get packs, and its a really nice store. I even got some cards graded and the process was really simple.

My 14 year old and I purchased a disc attachment for his PS5. I asked if this was the correct item so that he could play game discs on his PS5, since he has the digital version and I was told yes. Once we got home we realized it only worked on the PS5 Slim, which we were not aware of. While attempting to return it, the cashier said that she did ask me if we had the Slim version before we purchased it. That is simply not true. Regardless, we had just purchased it a few hours prior and we had proof of that. It was clearly purchased by mistake, by a teenage kid. The cashier had ZERO interest in trying to help a kid who spent his own money on the item. Now he has wasted $80 on a item he can't even use. We will not be doing business at this location anymore. Make sure you ask every possible question when making a purchase!!!

Ive said it before and ill say it again, this is the best gamestop I have ever shopped at! Ive been a Pro member with this location for almost 2 years and have never regreted it. Colby and her entire team were so helpful and welcoming today, as always. Thank you for everything!!!!!

The staff at this location is rude. Dez and the manager Colby have an attitude every time my fiancé or me step inside. They encouraged other customers to boo my fiancé out of the store when he purchased Pokémon cards. The staff (Colby) told him “There’s an agreement that people are only going to buy one UPC.” The sign on the door said 2 per person. They have been rude ever since this day. I understand work can be frustrating, but taking it out on people who are just buying products your company is selling is ridiculous. Do your job like an adult or make room for someone who knows how to be one.
