GameStop - 5302 - Cranberry Creek Center

Happened to be in the area and stop by today. Their prices are just horrible. I used to go there for trading cards when they were retail price. Now they're literally 2x retail. 100$ for a Pokemon ETB and 10$ for a single booster pack. They sell $0.10 bulk cards for $1, and $0.50 exs for $6. Now they want me to pre-order $100 items for $400? Legitimately what are we doing? Not the staff's fault, but this company is terrible now. You can't even reach their customer service, they scammed me out of all my Gamestop points when I was a member for 2 years. For video games, I can just get physical games elsewhere for cheaper and support local. No reason to go here, and they're sabotaging themselves by continuing to raise the prices.

I went in with pretty low expectations (due to past GameStop experiences in general) and I tell ya Tommy was an absolute professional! He helped get all my old gaming items traded in for a Switch OLED, all while being upfront and honest about my trade condition and worth, I will be returning to this location!

Called and spoke to a gentlemen at this store and asked if they had a good variety of pre owned switch games available to browse. Was told there was plenty to choose from, needless to say I was very underwhelmed by the choices. So I purchased Donkey Kong: Bananza for the switch 2. Was supposed to be brand new but was given the floor display case. Could almost swear that it was a used copy. Scuffs on the case and all. I can see why GameStop is tanking.

Maybe if they answer the phone maybe they’ll get more customers I mean i tried over 30 times and just to ask about a game and I know they ain’t a busy place because me and my sister been in there alot and that guy that works in there has an attitude all I wanted to do was ask ask about a game

1st, their customer service is the best in the entire area of beckley to charleston. 2nd they try really they put forth effort to help. Lastly they are NOT the store at Corridor G. Those guys need shut down. Go to the good one not the charleston ones
