GameStop - 5270 - Southport Center

I’ve spent a ton of money at this location on sports and Pokémon cards. Went in today to buy Pokémon cards with my wife to treat her I told her I didn’t care if they were marked up. The guy working gave his opinion on how dumb the hobby was and how much money people waste. He literally talked her out of buying anything. My wife ended up feeling guilty and said she doesn’t want to spend money on the hobby anymore. Whoever was working today, thanks man now I feel bad about buying sports cards

Asked if they had any pokemon, pitch black promo cards left and yelled no at me before I could even get the full question out and hung up the phone

I have been to a lot of Gamestops in my life, this is easily the best. Simply because of customer service. Dillon or Dylan(not sure of spelling) is always extremely helpful and kind. I would highly recommend coming to this location simply because of him. Always makes checkout easy and informs me on all the games, plus helps me find the best deals to save me the most money. No one will answer the phone. Called 5 times. Gave 2-3 mins in between calls. Still no answer. It’s 3:30pm on a Tuesday. There’s no way you’re that busy. And if you are answer and put me on hold. Lazy people. Just pure laziness

Came today to get a warranty swap on a pre owned controller as the one I bought originally had some stick drift issues, Dylan behind the counter helped me and grabbed a controller that was an exact match of what I wanted and even plugged the controller into a program showing me the controller was in good working order no drift or poor input on the sticks! As well provided a plethora of information about the warranty and how to best go about it in the future. Thank you Dylan, and GameStop on US-31 for the help, will be my go to GameStop from now on.
