If you work at GameStop, you should know at least SOMETHING about games. I asked questions about a few games I was interested about, the two girls behind the counter knew nothing at all, then went back to talking about whatever. The market street GameStop is better and it’s worth the extra drive for me. Considering one of the games was brand new and just came out, figured they’d know something about it.

The girls that work at the store are so friendly, so nice and helpful and I can’t recommend this GameStop enough. I’ve never had a bad experience they make my day every time I come in.

Abby (I hope I spelt this right), was extremely helpful over the phone when I called asking about a game pre-order. It seems like she genuinely cares. Especially compared to the Signal Butte location where it seems as if every employee I talked to and encountered was incompetent. Thank you Abby!

I walked in to offload a couple of old systems that I'm no longer using. When the woman with glasses came out of the back room, I said hello and her response was almost irritated. I asked how she was doing and again her response was very irritated and offputting like how dare I ask her how she's doing. She gave off a negative nasty attitude like she was upset that I came into her business. She then told me they didn't have cash and it would be a money prepaid Mastercard. That's understandable but due to her revolting and disgusting attitude I chose to walk out and go to another store.

SO RUDE! I walked in, looked at a PS5 that I 100% planned on buying. I then walked to the register and asked about the PS5 digital slim edition and was quickly told "I don't know, I'm in the middle of something." — the woman put her head back down and continued looking at her phone. I was the ONLY person in the store! she had nothing going on that should've surpassed that kind of a sale. so I walked back over to the PS5 display and waited a moment and after being ignored still I left and told the woman, "sorry to have bothered you." missed out on a guaranteed sale of a $380 PS5 console. I went to the next closest GameStop and was engaged within seconds after walking in. it was one of those things that leaves you thinking about it after you leave the store. those are your main job requirements. make sales, be friendly, and have a high customer satisfaction rating. she had every opportunity to meet all those things and more, and choose to look at her phone on the counter instead. it would've costed her maybe 5 minutes away from her phone by doing her job. it almost felt like she was trying to be rude, because there's no way that encounter was by mistake or to where she had no idea how someone would have felt the way I did afterwards. there's no way. she's lucky I didn't get her name. otherwise I would've quickly called management.
