5 OUT OF 5. Customer service was amazing! The cashier (Brittany) was so nice and brought a smile to my face. The store overal had a great vibe, and had a great selection of games for all consoles. I would definitely recommend going here for any reason you may have. 5 🌟 out of 5, I will be coming here again.

I went in on the 30th at the Augusta maine game stop to do a trade in , so I brought my ps4 and 2 controllers one controller was the collectors gold edition the other was a black controller. I received 124.08 in store credit since I forgot to pack the HDMI cord with the ps4 in which I only packed the power cable. I had to buy an HDMI cord for 2.84 dollars in something cents i purchased one game for myself that costs 36.09 and one for my son that cost 18.04 then he charged me for an extra controller when I already gave him two and the black one worked perfectly with my gaming before I brought it there the same day before i factory reset the ps4 system. I feel I got charged for an extra controller because he was trying to get me to use all the in store credit that i received in which I wanted to use the leftover credit to get my son some PS5 games here and there and I did not agree to purchase a PS4 controller after i had already given him two of mine. No way in heck , did i agree that only two used games plus a cheap cord was valued one hundred and twenty with a controller that shouldn't have been added in the cost since i gave him two with my ps4 and one was working very well and the other wasn't. There's supposed to be 67.03 left over that i promised my son that he could use the leftover in store credit so when i Went to get him a PlayStation card with whatever that exact amount of leftover was gonna be thinking that'll be the best bet they deprived my son of getting a card until I get paid. And said they weren't going to pay out the credit i was supposed to receive. And for some reason , they put on my receipt that two used games plus a cheap 2 dollar cord cost 120.00 bucks when we all know there's no way in heck it does two games and one chord doesn't not equal the cost of one hundred and twenty bucks. I don't know if he was just confused with what I was saying , but I certainly was hoping to use the leftover 67.03 on getting my son more games i don't just give away money for free although I am valued customer, so it was bound to happen sooner or later just not this time. But they wouldn't allow me to use the extra in store credit , which was obviously there because the two games and cords don't equal one twenty. They literally have my number and can rectify the situation , but they refuse to even call their boss to ask him about it. For anyone that's in here , I'd love to know how two games in one cheap HDMI chord costs one twenty? if this is how they're going to do business , then they won't be seeing me anymore. Also like to add where he took 2 controllers from me and gave the in store credit to me from them that he shouldn't have added a ps4 controller to me cost why would I buy a ps4 controller after giving him two for the trade because i have a ps5 now! That's some shady stuff throwing in a controller that I never purchased when I treated too why would I buy one from him when I traded two I'm hoping the actual owner of the store sees this and rectifies the situation. What's the once I dealt with today just laughed at me and said , nope , you're not getting it back. They even acknowledged that since I was trading in too controllers that there's no way I was buying a ps4 controller from them since i own a ps5 and they acknowledge that it shouldn't have been on the purchase part of the receipt! They also acknowledge too games with one HDMI cable did not equal a 120 and there was people in the store who witnessed the whole conversation when they acknowledged that what I was saying is current. Yet I still don't have my sons in store credit of 67.03??? And also I most certainly did give him money for a warranty coverage on all three games for up to a year , but it says on my receipt that I declined that when I never declined it , I paid him the money for that!

Don’t come here. The trade in values are outrageously underpriced at your disadvantage. Also, Tyler who is a worker here was getting upset at a customer for having a speech impediment. The guy was stuttering, and then Tyler mimicked him to make fun of him and the guy was so angry that he left his stuff at checkout without paying. I then saw that, and turned around to buy my ps5 at Walmart. That’s disgusting behavior and Tyler the worker here, should be VERY ASHAMED OF HIMSELF! Do all GameStop employees make fun of handicaps and disabilities? Disgusting behavior that I REFUSE to support. No more GameStop for Joe… 🤷‍♂️🇺🇸

New store policy "You are not allowed to purchase any pokemon cards unless you sign up for PRO account"....so not only do you have to pay over MSRP but are now required to pay for an annual membership....DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION, visit your Augusta maine branch where this rule doesnt exist. Sounds like the manager is trying to sell more pro accounts cause they arent making quota.
