GameStop - 4817 - Presidential Square

Here on a Saturday afternoon and the only employee is on the phone talking to his buddy with me and another in the store looking around. Never says a thing to us like we are invisible. Might as well have AI or a kiosk replace this guy who doesn’t care at all about customers!

Emily is the best! She handled all the customers coming in as we waited for a trade-in. She is super friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all questions like a pro. Very satisfied with her customer service!

Staff could be a bit more attentive to the customers walking in the doors. I was pleasantly surprised after not being in a gamestop in a while. The have clothes, socks, shirts, movie stuff or show stuff like merchandise from the Netflix series One Piece and even have transformers.

I went in here a while back. I wish I could say it was a positive experience. Everything was fine until another customer went to check out (nothing about the customer). The employee working that day asked this guy multiple times about getting a warranty about his controller he was buying and the guy said no each time. Then the employee basically said it was stupid for him not to spend an extra 20 bucks for a warranty. The employee said you have kids and kids break things. The guy was finally able to buy his controller and get out of there so then I went up with my games ready to buy them. The transaction starts and is going fairly smoothly until we get to the warranty, the guy asked me 4 times and I said no I appreciate the offer but I'm not interested today 4 times. I don't want any hate for this employee but no means no man. The only reason I'm giving this store 3 stars is because I was impressed with the condition of the items I bought. I don't think I'll be shopping at this specific location for a while. Up your game GameStop, heck it's in your name. I by no means want to see GameStop fail, I still want to support them and still will, but this is just a great example of what's wrong with the company.

This is my local GameStop, the employees have always tried, shoving warranties and stuff down my throat. Every time I’ve bought a game even when I’ve told them multiple times no they still push. On top of that, I took a trade in today, GameStop advertises that they will buy your games for cash, but they refused and said they would only do gift cards cause they didn’t feel like opening the safe. I don’t blame the employees I blame the higher up who apparently do not want them to open the safe for small trade-ins. It’s quite obvious this company is not Prepared or just doesn’t care
