GameStop - 4570 - Hillsdale

I went in for a trade in and the trade in value was more on the gamestop website than what they were offering me in the store. Most gamestops would probably just have the mentality of if you dont want to do the trade then we can just cancel the trade in. Luckily Robin was a diamond in the rough of gamestop employees and did what ever it took to get me the difference. Even though it was only a 22 dollar difference, Robin got it done! Thanks again and hope you get a raise!

Really disappointed, I tried to get a receipt for a game I bought last Father’s Day so I can claim some dlc content my kids accidentally did not use, its the only way to do it through sNk. GameStop can’t find it ? GameStop customer service can’t find it and tried to send me back to the store that sent me to customer service!! If I would have bought this game anywhere else customer service would be able to to find my receipt, I even bought the warranty for this game!! Companies like Best Buy can access this kind of stuff going back ten years,, how can they not help my find something that is not even a year old yet ? Do yourself a favor and don’t buy video games at GameStop anymore, I’m definitely going to spend my money elsewhere from now on.

Went in today to look around, and asked about pokemon cards and found out the had the Elite Trainer Box. Being a collector I wanted to know who was on the box i.e the design so I could add it to my collect. The person helping me asked one of the keyholders could they get one from the back so I could see it. The keyholder went to the back got the item held it up in the air from 20+feet away amd rudely said see this is what it looks like. Like I was gonna run off with it. I've been in this location a few times never got treated like that before.

Walked in at ~12:10 to make a purchase today. Basically loitered around the person working there, waiting for his attention. He ignored me and continued whatever personal call he was on as though I wasn’t there. He definitely knew I was as he greeted me when I walked in. Bright side: there’s a target like a mile away! Why bother here when I can’t even complete a straightforward transaction?

Came to purchase a couple of PS5 games because I honestly thought they would have better deals. There were only a couple of customers and we hd to wait 45 minutes because this lady in the cashier was taking so long to assist the people she was with for the past 45 minted. When we were frustrated and wanted to leave, a new staff came in (could be his shift or just back from dinner). He then proceeded to serve us, took 5 minutes to turn on the computer and another 5 minutes to checkout, including finding the right product on the counter behind the cashier (the ones displayed weren’t with disc), scanning and us paying. Just simple as that and we waited for so long. Besides that, they did have a couple of good deals for games of PS5 and Nintendo, with many other game related merchandises.
