GameStop - 3992 - Bossier City

I visited this GameStop to purchase a few games and left disappointed. There was only one other customer in the store. The employee greeted them and asked about their rewards membership but never asked me, which felt inconsistent. I also asked about the military discount and received a vague response. As a veteran, I expected a clearer explanation of available benefits. My biggest concern was that the “new” game I purchased was not sealed. It had been stored in a white CD sleeve behind the counter and was placed into a case at checkout. Selling an unsealed game as new feels unprofessional and raises questions about its condition. Overall, the store lacked some items I wanted, the customer service was disappointing, and the process for selling new games needs improvement. I hope management addresses these concerns.

Called the store until they answered because who takes a lunch an hour before closing? Seems to be a recurring problem per other reviews

No lunch break times posted but took a lunch break an hour and a half before the store closed. TERRIBLE customer service.

The staff is friendly, but if you go In there on release day they have NO INTEREST in checking inventory. One time the manager even suggested I “sweet talk” the cashier to get her to see if the items came. Finally convinced her to go look, and of course they were there, and it took her less than three minutes. Other times they are just like “nah”.

Always can find something for gamers in the family here. Sometimes, we find marked down collectibles. We like earning game rewards. We can trust purchases we make here & like the return policy. Hamestop always has knowledgeable staff.
