GameStop - 3945 - Midtown Village

I had a really frustrating experience with GameStop. I purchased a used Wii game that turned out to be in terrible condition and basically unplayable. When I brought it back, instead of offering a proper replacement or refund, I was told they would only take it back as a “defective” trade-in and then make me pay the difference for another copy. That doesn’t sit right with me. The game was sold to me in that condition to begin with, so I don’t understand why I’m the one expected to cover the cost to fix their mistake. It felt unfair and honestly pretty disappointing as a customer. I’d recommend checking any used games carefully before buying or honestly exhausting all other platforms to purchase before coming here.

genuinely one of the worst vendors of anything in Tuscaloosa. if you are trying to sell games or consoles STAY AWAY. i was given $45 of in-store credit for a PS4 Pro, controller, power and charging cable. everything worked just as well as when they sold me the system for $200+, yet they claimed it was defective. absolute scam artists. never going there again

Poor experience.. I bought a New switch 1 day ago due to my old one going out. I was able to fix the old switch. Gamestop told me I'd have within 7 days to refund my purchase. I was told they give me half of what I paid in store credit instead, despite the plastic still on everything...Don't EVER buy a game system from here.
