GameStop - 3489 - Surfside Commons

I really try to refrain from giving a low review to game stores because I love video games and game stores, but I’ve had enough. Multiple times now I have called the store ahead of time to see if they had a particular game in stock and then they would tell me they do and I would immediately leave my house and drive up there to go get it but then once I get to the store, they would tell me they made some mistake and that they actually didn’t have the game in stock and that they misread their computer or they counted a reservation improperly or just some mistake and end up with me wasting an hour of my time. This has happened on multiple occasions at this point. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed, dude. The amount of incompetence is an actual joke.

Ethan was very helpful with trading in my PS4 for a Switch 2. Very nice guy as well.

I’ve been a customer to this location for years. And the one time I buy their mystery packs I got a junk grade and the only reason why I bought it is because. GameStop offers a $60 return store credit for the PSA graded card. However GameStop stated that the deal was going on April and May. There is no stop date Announced. But as soon as I bought their mystery packs. They surprisingly stated that the return for the $60 store credit ended a week ago Even though there is no Announcement that GameStop was ended the promotion.

Tim absolutely is the guy you want at every GameStop. He was patient, kind, and extremely helpful. Tim helped me on the phone, in store (where he fixed my problem), and told me to call him with info about my TV if it was something on that end and even offered to help if the problem was on the TV end. Tim went above and beyond and made it all seem effortless and made me feel less stupid for seeking help and assuring me that I wasn’t wasting his time.

Great selection and employees. Took my son for a midnight release of a game and even though there were about 200 ppl in line, we were in and out in a half hour! Well run!
