GameStop - 3432 - Shops @ Waterville Commons

I normally stop in here every 2 weeks to look for new collectibles and accessories, I bring my scooter with me and I've never had an issue browsing with it at my side then making my purchases. Today there was a bearded gentleman working who stopped me and told me to leave it outside, not just leave it at the door but outside. Every store I've been to in the area if they dont want me browsing with it they tell me to leave it by the door, but no this guy told me to leave it outside. Waterville has a petty theft problem and I guarantee if i left it outside for 2 minutes it would be stolen. I'm canceling my annual pro membership because I now have no way to shop there. It's a shame because it was a store I enjoyed shopping with.

After this experience I have no reason to ever go to gamestop again. This sadness me greatly as I loved the company as a kid held the stock before it got famous and had great memories of Elder Scrolls and Halo launch parties as a kid. I called about their midnight releases for Pokémon and was told as long as I was within the first 10 people I would get one, apparently when I was trying to cash out one of the employees told the other 2 that wasn't true they were reserved for pre-orders only. If this is the new policy it should definitely be clearly stated they are exclusive to pre-orders only but I find this unusual as I have always been able to get the promotion card with a TCG purchase as the website states but I guess the policy has changed after being lied to and driving 2 hours with my kids for something that was advertised you have lost another customer. 🤑

They never have product. Sports cards. and they never are open drove all the way there.To see a sign on the door saying closed.Do to medical emergency. Which I get but u. all never answer your phone so can never call a head so very pissed .and not the first time this has happened. IM PISSED i WASTED MY GAS AND TIME DONE WITH WATERVILLE GAMESTOP

Worst gamestop in maine. Don't know were you get your employees but they out to k kw something about gameing. Called about a copy of demon souls for ps5. Sony didn't make that game he said. Agent proceeds to tell me hes an Xbox guy. Didn't lookanytning up in the computrt and argued with me your customer I am already not hapoy about the pro card 35% interest rate hard to cancel. And the pshicisl selcetion selection at this store sucks along with there professionalism OK the augusta store hooked me up. There better all around
