GameStop - 3102 - Plaza on Manhattan

The first time around, I bought a copy of *The Last of Us Part II*, but it turned out to be defective. I went back to file a claim, and they asked for my ID in order to process it. They told me that since I didn't have a warranty sticker, I couldn't make the claim. Okay—I figured that was fair enough. Then, the very next month, I went back and bought a different game. That one turned out to be defective, too; it would freeze up after just 30 minutes of gameplay. With *that* game, however, I *had* purchased a two-year warranty—the sticker was right there on the case—and they told me I *wouldn't* need an ID to file a claim because I had the sticker! So, I went back to file the claim again... But they asked for my ID *once more*!!!!! WHY DON'T THEY ASK FOR YOUR ID WHEN YOU'RE BUYING SOMETHING? BUT THE MOMENT YOU TRY TO FILE A CLAIM, THEY DEMAND IT?

Store was packed with employees but no one offered to help or assist. they were behind the counter having very in debth conversation about processing new merch. My buddy and I were able to locate items we were looking for with no issues. The only real negative was the odd smell in the store, like mold and body odor. It was kind of funky.

Malik was very helpful, informative and patient with me during my visit. I’m happy with my new Switch 2!!!!

The 2 weebs that worked there that week were hype

Place reeks of mold, the workers just play it off like nothing stinks.. Maleek the manager finesses pre releases for himself and friends. Also up charges and minimizes the limit!
