GameStop - 2663 - Atlanta Hwy Athens

Wonderful employee. So nice and helpful.

Gamestop as a company should cease to exist. I went to a gamestop ask for a ps5 controller which they pointed to the wall. Grabbed the cheapest controller off of said wall, purchased it, got home to realize it was a playstation 4 controller. Called the nearest gamestop to return it, which they said no problem. Went to said store to return the controller with the receipt but was told, "I could only traded in." A brand new controller, never used but only offer $10 back to trade it in 2 days later. Was told to call corporate, which was a continuation of jumping through hoops. They were no help either. They said they only deal with online purchases. Even after that, I was told, I had to take it back to the store I purchased it at and contact the district leader of that store to return it (which is out of town/more hoops to jump thru). Gamestop is a scam.

Just wanted to shout out a guy that's been polite and professional and always doing more asked even since the days of Georgia Square Mall thanks Jesse for everything.

Absolute trash of a store and company. Overpriced cards, underpriced game trade in value. If you have to go here I wouldn’t deal with anyone but Tristan. Jessie is nothing but a lier and could care less about customer service! I honestly have no idea how this brick and mortar store is still in business if it wasn’t for WSB!

Tried to go to the Atlanta Hwy location to get Pragmata 2 for the Switch 2 today. The employee tried to sell me a copy that was opened as New full price. I left after being unwilling to spend full price on a used/opened game!
