We went to the store yesterday looking to preorder pokemon cards. Louie assisted us in our needs. While chatting with Louie we told him we had previously purchased a PS2 from another store and had problems with all 3 we tried to purchase. We explained that we live far and were hoping he could test it for us. He did!! He went above and beyond to assist us.

Don’t come here. 0/10 About a month ago, my friend and I went into the Target area just to go around and have fun. We eventually went into GameStop. After I decided to buy Ready Or Not and Marvel vs Capcom Collection, I went to the front to pay for the games. First it was them saying how much the two games were, and then they started asking me if I’d want to buy the GameStop subscription. I politely declined, because I haven’t liked GameStop, nor do I buy from them frequently. I kept telling the guy I didn’t want the subscription, until the two other workers were also harassing me that I should buy the subscription. I was starting to feel really uncomfortable, until thankfully they stopped. The guy, Sean, eventually rudely remarked “Alright, whatever. Some people don’t like to save money, but that’s not my business.” He went to grab to the discs and the cases for the games. As I waited for him to get back with the games, another employee was telling a little boy that they’d buy his Nintendo Switch for $20 store credit or $16 cash. They were saying that the sticks were broken, although they were just worn down by frequent use. He was missing cables, which makes sense to reduce price. But still it was so sad to watch them try to swindle this little kid to sell them his Nintendo Switch. The guy Sean came back with the games, and I proceeded to checkout. I then left the store. As me and my friend started our drive back home, I noticed my receipt was’t right. I paid $50 for Ready Or Not and $15 for MVCC. But there was an extra fee of $20 that I never asked for nor they even told me about. That $20 was a two-year warranty for the game discs. I was upset about this, because I didn’t want to pay that extra $20, so I went back in expecting to be able to refund the games. I asked them for a refund, but they refused, saying I broke the games “seal”. Normally, a seal is an entire piece of plastic surrounding the case, but their “seal” was a sticker across where you open the game disc case. They never told me before I purchased the games also that once I broke the seal I couldn’t refund the items. So a GameStop trip that should have cost me about $65ish cost $80ish, and was also lied to. Because of this experience, I am never giving business to a GameStop again.

Dishonest, deceitful, untrustworthy! I called asking if they had any Xbox series X New systems available; I was told they had some, but Sean persistently tried to convince me to get a pre-owned; I insisted I wanted a new one. So after arriving and receiving my system, I asked can get a different one because the box was in poor condition; Issac claimed that was the last one, although Sean on the phone said they had " some" available!? While still in the parking lot I decided to register the serial number with Microsoft and discovered that the 1 year warranty had already been activated 2 months prior to my purchase of that console, which is impossible on a new console! When I asked Issac to explain how that could be, of course he could not! And that I could not get refunded or an exchange, so I had to drive to the Northridge branch to get an actual new console and much better service. Issac also signed me up to some Gamestop pro membership without my knowledge or agreement!!!! I feel taken advantage of and disrespected because I am convinced that they knew they sold me a pre-owned console while charging me for a new one! No should ever shop at this location, unless you don't care about customer service or being treated honestly and fairly!!!!!! I will never set foot in that place again! Thank you to the kind and beautiful ladies at the Northridge branch that showed how to treat their customers properly!

Forceful membership pressure from Sean. I came in today to buy one hanger pack of baseball cards ($7). Sean asked if I wanted to create a free account which I agreed. Then he tried to convince me to buy the premium membership to which I declined. Then he gave me reason after reason to buy it. Then he said I’ll just add it and my total went up to $32 without even telling me. After explaining even more he finally took it off. Ridiculous a super quick transaction turns into a 6 minute harassment. GameStop please train your employees better

Had a great first time experience camping out at GameStop for a midnight Pokemon TCG release. Sean, was super professional and explained the entire process clearly to me, him and the rest of staff managed the event in an easy, cohesive, and professional manner. If you see him around, just know he’ll be able to help you out.
