Learn How To Answer Your Phone!!! We called twice to find out how much it would cost to get my son's Pokemon card graded. They never answered their phone. So we drove 30mins to go and see in person only to find out that it was $80 to get the card graded. This is ridiculous. They could've answered their phone and we wouldn't even of bothered going. This is why GameStop is going out of business.

The store has a decent selection of games and collectibles, and the staff is generally friendly and knowledgeable. However, I've found that their prices can be a bit high compared to online options, which can be frustrating. Overall, it's a nice place to browse, but I wish they had better deals.

I was the girl in the review from 4 days ago that got her system wiped out. I’ve gone back twice now right before the blizzard of 2026, to make sure I would be entertained. On my first return after the mishap I got to work with the Assistant manager who was super nice and welcoming. Completely different experience. I purchased a NEW controller for Nintendo. I later on got home and it wouldn’t work, I returned that NIGHT to return the item. I was told I couldn’t because the item was marked at clearance in their system even though the price shown was not marked clearance at all. GameStop has a specific policy when it comes to returns and I knew this, or I would never of bought a used/clearance controller I was 50/50 would work with my NEW system. I avoided working with the same person I saw 1-2 days prior. He needed to “help” his associate with my then new problem. Before letting me explain, he said “what’s wrong now? I’ve seen you 3 times now!” Sir excuse me? I can come in the store 15x a day. I explain the issue they explain their clearance policy.. and then this man tried to hand me $35 IN CASH as a return since it’s “their mistake” I didn’t allow that and will be going back in to speak with the manager again. I also that same night purchased the correct controller and then was not even offered the warranty. An almost $95 controller and I wouldn’t want the warranty? After buying the warrants for the system? They purposely didn’t mention a warranty available at this point because as the associate said “he needs a break” after he was already getting screamed at by another unsatisfied customer before I had even walked in.

Had a very disappointing experience. Granted I get people make mistakes but you have to be careful when people are spending a lot of money. And also you clearly don’t know what you’re doing. My friend traded in her Switch for a Switch 2. The employee was handling the transaction. He wiped out her switch. What bothered me wasn’t the mistake, but how he handled the situation. He was rushing through the transaction, and understandably because the store was busy. Although it’s better to take your time than make a catastrophic mistake and delete hours/months/years of someone’s time. I understand that wiping the system is part of the trading process, but YOU DO NOT WIPE THE SYSTEM UNTIL the customer leaves. That defeats the purpose of a trade culture when you lose all your data. Really feel there should be some compensation or accountability for this and felt it was worth mentioning. Maybe a learning opportunity.
