Don’t spend your points at this location, they are very inconsiderate and don’t even care to apply it to your purchase (Cashier McKinlay) & the store manager was standing right next to the guy and could care less to apply the points to my purchase. And after I recalled the fact that I wanted to use my points “McKinlay” goes “Oh sorry I guess it’s too late but you can come back tomorrow and buy a Pokemon pack” it was like 2 seconds after handing him my items💀💀Canceling my monthly. GameStop has really lost its customer service.

I recently visited this GameStop location in Brandon, FL and had a frustrating experience with an employee named Noah. I came in to complete a trade-in, and he claimed that one of my systems had “screen flickering.” When I asked him to show me, there was no flickering visible at all. Despite that, he quietly asked a colleague if they could “see the flickering,” which made the situation feel uncomfortable and unprofessional. What made this more frustrating is that I watched another customer complete a large trade-in with no issues, while my items were being overly scrutinized—even when the concern being raised didn’t appear to be real. I’m not quick to jump to conclusions, but the inconsistency in treatment didn’t sit right with me. I just wanted a fair and straightforward trade-in process, and unfortunately, that’s not what I experienced here. This play has 0 checks and balance. I even spoke with the manager and he just blew me off. GameStop needs new leadership training. This the second GameStop today giving me weird issues.

Extremely disappointing experience at this GameStop location. My daughter entered the store with the clear intention of purchasing the brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 with the Mario Kart bundle. She knew exactly what she wanted and was fully prepared to pay for it. Instead of honoring her request, the employee immediately tried to push her toward a cheaper, pre-owned console that she never asked for. Assuming the new system was out of stock, she prepared to leave — only for the employee to admit moments later that the new bundle was actually available and that he had simply assumed she would prefer the less expensive option. That assumption alone is unacceptable. What makes this even worse is that the pre-owned console he attempted to sell her wasn’t even in stock; it had already been sold. This was not a misunderstanding — it was a failure in basic customer service and professionalism. Customers should never be profiled, redirected, or have assumptions made about their financial capability. My daughter works hard for her money and deserved to be treated with respect, listened to, and provided accurate information from the start. GameStop leadership should take this seriously. Employees must be trained to serve ALL customers without bias or assumptions. Based on this experience, I would caution others to pay close attention to how they are being treated in this store.

I attempted to make a warranty exchange using a photo of my receipt on my phone. The manager, Noah, was unhelpful and dismissive despite the receipt clearly showing the purchase details. No effort was made to assist or offer alternatives other than try a different store. Overall, the customer service was disappointing.won’t be going back

Will not be back to this location or any, customer services is not a priority. Went to purchase something for my son, the item wrung up differently than what it was priced. I informed the gentleman the price where it was located said a different price. Walked the gentleman over to show him, he said that it was in wrong location and I would have to pay the price it ranged up. Which if I was at target or Walmart they would have honored the price that the item was located with multiple products in that area. The state if I wanted to purchase the item I could pay the correct price. Needless to say won’t be back.
