Went to pickup a pokemon etb preorder and the cashier went to fetch it only to see that one side of the box had a huge tear. I asked her to please swap it out and she said that's what was assigned to me. I then asked if I could cancel the order for a refund and she let out a big sigh and went to grab another box making the entire transaction awkward. If I'm paying above MSRP for a product, it better be a new box with no rips or tears.. pretty simple.

A few weeks ago I went there for some Pokemon cards, I’ve been in love with the franchise my entire life. They’re selling them for more than Pokemon themselves sell em, 30 bucks over actually. $70 for a thing that goes for $40, absolutely crazy. Also their retro consoles look terrible and are overpriced, they had an NES more yellowed than my Golden Retriever for way too much.s Do not go here.

Yesterday, I tried buying the tomagotchi life game, and the guy at game stop told me they had one more and couldn't sell it less than $70? Which isn't even what its listed for or price shows in gamestop. Not sure if employees are allowed to make profit off of charging customers higher prices but this should be against company policy. I will no longer shop in gamestop after this.

I actually got scammed. Went in to purchase a game for switch last week and the cashier essentially begged me to buy their year of Gamestop membership for which I declined. He ended up adding the 2 years warranty to my purchase without my permission for $7 extra. Who needs a warranty for a switch game?!?! Its literally hard plastic. This is the first time in years I have even walked into a Gamestop let alone purchased a game this kinda seals the deal on me never coming back.

Today August 23rd came to the Game stop as usual. I wanted to buy 1 box of Pokemon cards and ZACH was trying to make me buy a membership to be able to buy it. I told him I didn’t need to buy one and he kept on saying I needed to purchase. I had to call the customer service at Game stop to make sure since I know well I don’t need to. They sent me an email advising to show him that I’m not required to buy a membership to buy stuff. I went back and basically argued to him that he needs to do a better job of giving false information. They did sell me the item . Very rude and not professional to explain that just needed an email for account to prevent all the scalping. This women just trying to get a box for my 6 year old.. it made be very upset and gave me a hard time! They prefer losing sales if people don’t buy the membership or maybe they waiting on “scalping friends “ ugh.
