GameStop - 1588 - Wilshire Plaza

Looking for a game for our kids' birthday, I went to the gamestop website and found one at the church road location and paid for it. When i showed up to pick it up the clerk informed me that the copy I bought was reserved by the store manager and she couldn't sell it to me. She did check other stores (nobody had it), and offered to send me another copy but she wanted to charge me shipping.

It's 11:15 am and the store isn't open. There's a line out the door and it appears no one showed up to come to work. People have things to do and places to be.

1st time stopping by this Gamestop, I noticed that they were out of Dragonball packs. Jessica was super awesome and went out of her way to get more of them for me. That was superb customer service. 👏 Thank you so much Jessica that made my weekend.

I just want to say wow. This store has upped its game, and not at the hand of GameStop. Dom was helping a ridiculous amount of customers ranging from difficult to chill. While I waited in line it was instantaneous the way his work ethic and character was beaming outward at work. The dude is personable and knowledgeable but also incredible quick to help you out. AND ADMIT WHEN HE MADE A MISTAKE. I can’t reiterate this enough: I’ve had mixed emotions about this game stop since I moved her 5 years ago. Dom needs a raise, recognition and eventual promotion. This dude made my shopping trip an experience and community activity. Going so far as to chat with me and two other customers about the last ronin, something he wasn’t even familiar with! I don’t know what the training codes and guidelines are like at GameStop, but if they’re anything other than what Don was doing they’re falling short of greatness. Get this man some recognition!! 10/10 will be shopping only at the liberty store thanks to Dom. Honorable mention: he did a great job selling pro as a solution to a problem rather than a product. This dudes going places 👍🏼🔥

After standing outside for 8 min past the open time in 29 degree weather with the employee inside on the phone purposely ignoring me I went ahead a left. Great customer service basically what you expect in 2022. Other people standing outside waiting past open time also.
