This GameStop is horrible. They do not know how to run a business. I placed a pre order and gave them my info. I called every week to check if my order was in and kept being told there’s no order date, then oh it’s in transit, then the next week I called they said oh sorry you missed the 48hr window to pick up, when they called the wrong phone number. Literally gave my order away after I paid full price for it and now they can’t get what I ordered. Not to mention I have to call 10 times to actually get through since they rarely answer the phone. I would not recommend doing business with them.

Came here for a copy of Super Mario for the switch. Brett tried to force me into their yearly subscription and looked annoyed when I declined the offer. Then he added a 5 dollar warranty fee without asking me. I only noticed because the price went up drastically. He said that it's important and if the game stops working within 7 days, I have to buy a new game since they don't play test the games they buy. And it would cover my switch game if it breaks into a milliom pieces. I told him to remove it and he seemed more upset. After transaction was completed, he tossed the game over to me. I said have a nice day and he completely ignored me. Worst custom service I have ever experienced.

So they acted like scam artists. Well, the woman did at least. Bit heavyset, Hispanic, maybe around 25 idk. Just bought 2 used Xbox series x games from here. They tried to automatically add a 7 dollar warranty I didn't ask for. They tried to claim they "DO NOT CHECK THEIR USED GAMES THEY BUY APPARENTLY, SO IT IS RECOMMENDED I GET THE WARRANTY." Do you guys know how insane that sounds? On both sides? Like, first off, shame on you for apparently not checking the used games YOU buy, and then to try and act like that's true, in order to get more money out of me? No way. Scam. Btw people, for used games, they DO check to make sure they work. That was a lie- Maury.

Go somewhere else where they appreciate your business. The male employee as listed in other comments is a real thing. He’s rude and abrasive. I asked if he was able to check the store computer to see if other gamestops had a product and he said I can do it myself. He really is a joke. I didn’t know you could act like that on a job? I won’t be going back.

I stopped by this GameStop store inside Northridge mall while my wife was shopping in Macy. I haven't walked into this GameStop in a while and it looks like they have less stuff in there now. They still have their games on the mall and some console out for you to test but not as much as before. They have some Funko Pop on sale and some other stuff as well. The employee working last night was friendly, he greeted me when I walked in, told me about their sales and ask if I needed any help. I looked at some PS5 games for my nephew and found the Spider-Man game that he wanted but I didn't purchase it yet. I might come back for it because the price for a used game was pretty good.
