GameStop - 1359 - Magic Valley Mall

Sorry Bella, but your employees that were working 7/1/26 at 10:15 are the reason for this review and why I and my family will not be shopping here from now. While using a penny as instructed, I removed the silver backing on my PlayStation Gift card and there were letters/numbers missing. when I came into the GameStop that I bought the card the night before, the gals working behind the counter dismissed me saying that it is not their problem and that I am out the $30. I have never been so blatantly disrespected in your store before, but it seems that any time I go into the store at the Magic Valley Mall, these two are too busy talking to the same guys or are too busy with each other to help guest. I just wanted to exchange the gift card that was missing parts of the redeem code and I was met with rude and dismissive employees... on the other hand, the Manager Bella is always wonderful to work with and very helpful she regularly greets folks when they walk in even if she is with a guest and is attentive to her guest's needs even when they are simply "just looking." she is the only saving grace for this store.

They are violating the pokemon terms on promo cards by only giving the promo to people who pre ordered. They also did not notify anybody the rules changed. We waited an hour before opening to get told we couldn’t have a promo card. The pokemon company says you only have to buy $15 worth of product. Not that you have to preorder. Just GameStop being greedy and trying to capitalize on the promo cards. Will not be shopping here ever again.

I should only give 2 stars but Hands down the employees are awesome and very welcoming. If only other stores would fallow suit with employees. So i've came to realize that gamestop is now considered WORSTstop in my opinion and its not the employees fault at all.. again they are great! Worststop has became a corporate scalper with Pokémon cards. I also went in to sell a brand new Xbox series X and they could only give me $140 while they turn around to sell it for $550 (I walked out with the xbox). If you're gonna buy pokemon cards, just find your local scalper instead of supporting a corporation that's trying to control the pokemon market. AGAIN the employees are awesome!!!

Awesome place of course for all your gaming needs there was a guy n gal who helped me on getting my grandsons new Xbox they were Amazing! I will do a update once I get their names. ☺️

Stopped by to pick up a few games. The clerk was very helpful and courteous. Love this place!
