GameStop - 1319 - Vancouver Mall

First off upon entering the shop no one greeted anyone. Secondly the manager as he calls himself, along with his fellow employees desperately need a shower. Their store smells like disgusting body odor. Secondly As an official pokemon retailer they are marking up their products to scalper prices vs retail which im fairly sure goes against distribution standards and obligations. They are pre selling 30th ani UPC boxes for $400 compared to the standard retail agreement they are supposed to uphold at 179. Lastly they are distributing pre opened packs which also violates their distribution contract.

I graded a total of seven cards with two submissions one month apart. The first order one of my cards came back with grime on the back of the card. The guy who handed me the cards was helpful on me sending that one back to PSA. It came back with the same issue and nothing was solved. The woman who helped me said just sign even though I asked if I sign would I be accepting the damages. So turns out PSA won’t help me because it was through GameStop and they should have handled it. The people there are rude as heck. There is two people that are okay and mostly chill. The rest of the people who work there are total jerks. I’m going to use a different grading company from now on and never use Gamescalp ever again. Overpriced cards, rude people and they don’t even know what they are doing. Wouldn’t go here for anything Pokemon except maybe buy a stuffed animal or something. Gamescalp you will never be getting my business ever again! The smudge marks are small but still there and weren’t there before I sent it. They are on the edges of the card…. So mad with this company and PSA!!!

My husband and I had a horrible experience here with Anthony. My husband came in to trade in a few things and purchase a xbox series x. He was told by Anthony they were out. We called around to other stores and they looked into there system and said this location had them in stock. I then called them Anthony stated they did have them. I asked him up place one on hold for me. I showed up 30 min later and he said he sold it. Why hours before did they not have a new one when my husband was there first in line? Then suddenly when I call 1 hour later they do? Then when I show up it's sold? Complete waste of our time and we were lied to twice. First lie, they had no new ones second lie he was placing one on hold for me then lied to me when I went in saying some other woman picked up it and she thought it was me. The truth is he didnt want to sell my husband a new one for whatever reason and secondly he sold it and never placed it on hold for me.

I came in to get a PS2 on a whim ! The employees were helpful in getting it for my + the controller. I got home and realized the wrong power cord was included, ran back, and they made sure to get me the correct one asap. As well as tested the console to make sure everything worked since I was already there. While they were checking they asked if I had the memory card … nope I totally forgot about it ! So they made sure to help me in getting one of those too so I could get home and play my games :-) friendly staff with sense of urgency to get you what you need. Thank you to the lovely 3 staff members there tonight !

GameStop is always a great place to find plenty of new release games and equipment for your consoles. They also sell used games and consoles. There is also plenty of merchandise like plushies, t-shirts, and many other figurines and accessories. The employees working there are really kind and friendly. I recommend checking it out.
