GameStop - 1183 - Victor Valley Mall

The long haired man or person workin register right now needs to learn customer service. My son inquired about the hiring an he kept telling my son they wont hire you. Not his place hes not a manager needs to not judge people. My disbelief in the behavior. Questioned his age an all. Not appropriate.

Called ahead of time for a product and was told they had several and that i dont need a hold for them. Came immediately and they were sold out with the last one reserved for someone who called and put a hold on it after me. I would give negative stars based on how full of crap the Staff seems to be.

I was already having a bad day as I had perpetually struck out on finding any Pokemon TCG: Destined Rivals product, but Ana came through for me when she revealed that they still had extra booster packs and other cool product still available. Thank you so much to Ana for helping turn my day around! You’re a real one.

Very disappointed. I've been coming here for years and have never had an issue, it was actually always a great experience. Back in July/August 2024 I placed an order online to pick up a Funko pop. When I went in to pick up they had told me that I had already picked it up... I had not. The staff member called his manager and she was on speaker and wanted to say that I had already picked up. The staff member wrote down my number and name so that the manager could calm me. They never called me so I gave them a call. They kept me on hold and finally told me that the manager would call me back. I did get a call back and they told me that they were going to order another one and that there must have been a mistake and the Funko was given to someone else. I remained positive. After a bit I walked into GameStop in September to buy a gift and since I was there I asked for an update and there was no update but they had my information. Well my last straw was now in October I was at the mall and wanted to check in and the store manager told me that she was sorry and that I would need to call customer service because they couldn't order me another one as they were not making that Funko anymore and that she couldn't issue me a refund because it was already so long ago. I know $15 dollars is not a whole bunch but it's annoying that if the solution from the beginning was to call customer service. Don't make me wait months with promises that did not happen and then to tell me that a refund could have happened from the beginning.

I had a great experience at the GameStop. The employee who helped me had my best interest in mind. She suggested a purchase to save me some money. I really appreciate when an employee goes the extra mile for a customer.
