1) I recently bought a game through the app for pick up in store. The app showed stock, the stock number went down in the app when I finished the checkout, great! I hadn’t gotten a notice for it, but I know sometimes these things are iffy. Several hours later I called to check on it to make sure it’ll be fulfilled, and the rep told me they had the games, no problem, I can come pick it up. I ask again, just to be sure, because I’d rather check again and go to a different store if it can’t be fulfilled. I get another green light and finish my work shift. I show up to the store, and thankfully it’s the same guy I spoke to on the phone. I tell him I called, showed him the order, and.. Oops. Sorry, they have the game but it’s for someone else. I told him that I specifically called to avoid this from happening. He shrugs, says sorry, tells me to cancel the order from the app because he doesn’t know how. I called the customer care line to file a complaint, and went to Southcenter instead. DM still hasn’t reached out, but based on the staffing I’m not surprised. 2) I went in once to see if they had a copy of Mario Wonder. Funny enough, this same rep was the one helping me. Without looking at me, doing sick tricks on his Tech Deck, he asked “Uhh, yeah, which console?” I preordered Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth digitally, because I’d rather have the impending doom of Sony revoking digital content rights than deal with the single brain cell at this store.

I came in about 2 weeks ago to see about some video games and was immediately bombarded by the guy working there. I made it clear I was there to just browse and thanked him, but he couldnt stop asking if I liked pokemon or if I had a switch 2, and to pre-order the new pokemon. I told him no thank you, to which he continued to push saying they are "almost all sold out". Again, I do not care about that and told him again I was all good. He then came within a few feet of me as i was crouched down looking at games, where he began reading a sign about how, "oh, a switch 2 drop is coming, I didn't even know!" I stood up and left. Whoever the guy is was incredibly unprofessional, pushing a console and pre orders I clearly expressed i didn't want and had no respect for personal space. The guy was incredibly creepy, take your buissness elsewhere if you value people being respectful, courtius, or annoying.

I came in with my 7 and 5 year olds to get a game for a birthday gift. The staff was talking to people visiting the store who seemed to be their friends, which I had no problem with. We didn't need help, and they said hello when we walked in. The problem was with how often they were swearing. I personally swear and don't mind hearing it, but my kids kept looking at me with wide eyes, knowing they weren't supposed to hear it. They asked several questions on the way to the car. I realized the game was not in the case I had been sold, so I needed to go back in to get it. I left my kids in the car, since that seemed better than bringing them back in.

Came in a few months back and was not expecting bet buy level knowledge from the employee about all my questions. They were very informative as well as helpful and patient. The gentleman name was Caleb and I only wish all my encounters would with retail staff was as pleasant as the one I had that day in the Burien game stop !
