Very greedy people… they had a card set for $20, listed it with a sticker. Went to checkout and it was $27.. after asking about the price they inform me that the price went up to $25… weird how they didn’t inform me after scanning and I had to ask. I then asked if they can sell it for $20 because that’s literally what the price said prior to going to check out and they said no. So I left with nothing. The multi-million dollar company wouldn’t survive without that extra seven bucks I guess

I had an amazing experience. I hate GameStop, I’ve not used them in a long time because of my experience. Needed to clear out space so I got rid of three switches and some games and Beth was incredibly helpful, nice, and personable. Whenever waiting was necessary she had good conversation, as well as she got us out in an timely manner. I’m very impressed with this representative. If she isn’t the manager Beth needs to be.

One of the worst Gamestops. Won't return products within 15 days if opened even with receipt. No buyers remorse allowed. Would give 0 star.

Absent and negligent service. Called twice, no answer. Took a chance and went in, two employees were there with one customer, and they were just shooting the breeze. No greeting or acknowledgement at all. Spent about 5 minutes in there being ignored. As a scientific experiment, I called the store while I was there, and they again failed to answer the phone. I want to give a legit game store my business so badly, but I cannot support completely negligent service like this. It's a shame. If you can't be bothered to say "Hi" when you're working retail, you are in the wrong business. I went right across the street to Target and got what I needed, with smiling employees who were happy to offer assistance.

The employees at this store are lazy and could care less about the customer. I bought a headset for my son. The box very clearly states it’s a universal remote headset. It also states, as you can see in the pictures, that it should work for his PlayStation 5. I went back to the same store I purchased it from with the same employee working who sold it to us and knew it was for a PS5. They flat out refused to return it based on the fact that the box had been opened. I stated that because it does not connect universally as stated on the box that would deem it defective and returnable per their policy. He (claims he is the store manager) said he has nothing to exchange it with anyway and continued to refuse to do anything. When I stated I would contact corporate and also leave reviews about their lack of service they both mocked me and spottily stated, enjoy writing your review and laughed as a I left the store. Bradley, the store manager at the Woodfield location was happy to actually do his job. He stated the headset I bought is not compatible with PS5 despite what the box says and the employee at the Schaumburg store should have known that and mentioned it before I bought it. He went out of his way to find a store that has a compatible headset and call their store manager to explain my situation and have him hold the correct headset for me. If the guy at this location with the small eye is truly the store manager he has no business being one because he lacks any sort of customer service skills and could clearly care less. The entire store smells of body odor and is extremely off-putting on top of the poor people skills and lack of customer service. Showed up at the Arlington Heights store to exchange it and they wouldn’t do it either and said they hadn’t heard from Bradley either so now I’m stuck with a headset my son cannot use. This is why physical stores are closing and people would rather buy from amazon
