A business should win customers by being better, not by tearing others down. Between the inflated price tags and the mean-spirited management, I won’t be coming back. Do yourself a favor and go to the "other stores" they’re so worried about—they’re likely cheaper and run by better people.

Customer service is awful. Manager is rude, and a gossip. They constantly badmouth local businesses, calling them scalpers and shady and yet work for the most notorious scalping industry in the US. Unless you want a headache, and to pay up to 150% market price for almost everything collectibles, or for kids I strongly suggest avoiding this business (this location especially).

The new manager, Kiersten, at this location is stating slander to customers about another business. Presenting things as facts to customers that are completely false is extremely unprofessional. Defamation is a crime. Talk to us first before believing anything this manager has to say. I will always be open and honest about our business practices and will only tell you facts I know, and not things I’m assuming. Who knew opening a business meant I had to stop living my outside life 🤷🏼‍♀️

I visit this GameStop every now and then, and the store and employees are great, but the customers seem to not know how to respect other human beings. The only reason I avoid this store sometimes is because of the people who shop in it. I hope they don’t cause the last GameStop in Lafayette to close down just because they’re such disrespectful people. Much love.
