To all the girlies who play Magic: THIS IS YOUR CARD SHOP. 🫶🏻✨ I genuinely feel like I need to write this because, apparently, in 2026, women playing Magic still have to deal with sexism at card shops, and I honestly didn't realize how much of a problem it was until I started going to other stores. GamesIRL has been our go-to card shop for a while now. We probably stop in multiple times a month, sometimes as often as once a week. The employees recognize us, know what we usually look for (def a great place to buy singles), and sometimes I swear they already know what pack I'm about to buy before I even get to the register. And despite the fact that we don't regularly play there, they have always treated me with the exact same respect and enthusiasm as any other customer. No condescending questions. No questioning whether I actually know what I'm talking about. No weird assumptions about who I'm buying cards for. No treating me like I'm someone's girlfriend who just happens to be standing there. I'm just a customer who likes Magic. And that's exactly how they treat me. I didn't realize how much I appreciated that until I went to other card shops and experienced the complete opposite. It's honestly wild that something as simple as being treated normally and respectfully can feel so noteworthy, but unfortunately, it does. So, GamesIRL: thank you for being a genuinely welcoming place. You may not realize it, but creating an environment where women can walk in, browse, ask questions, buy cards, and enjoy the hobby without feeling judged or underestimated matters SO much. To all the girlies in the area (or anyone visiting who loves Magic/Lorcana/Pokemon)I cannot recommend Games IRL enough!! Support the shops that make you feel welcome! These are the places we want to keep around!

If your into Magic, then this store has plenty of support. If your into Pokemon, the staff hasn't monitored the last 4 events I have been to (they were elsewhere supporting Magic players or making sales). The "playables" binder wasn't updated in almost half a year and after over 2 months after rotation, 90% of the playables binder was non playable cards. I went to a trade night and there was NO OVERSIGHT, untill I tried to help someone (because there was no staff on the floor) and then they chimed in aggressively and with zero tact and demanded that I only use the APP they approve of (I do use that app but they didn't ask). There are a couple nice staff and a couple who treat me terribly. I only keep going because there is nothing else within driving distance from me.

My son came in to buy some Pokémon cards, and the staff member who helped us was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to answer all of our questions and clearly educated my son and I on how to tell if you have a card of value. We would definitely go back again for future trades or purchases.

Purchased 2 base sets from Travis, wildly knowledgeable, knows his way around the annals of Pokemon. Store is well organized, lively community and fun place to talk about the hobby.

Josh was super friendly and knowledgeable in our Nintendo switch 1 purchase. They host scheduled game nights (magic and Pokémon) every night. They also allow you to sit and play as long as there isn’t scheduled game nights. They have 5 tables with 8 chairs at each table. They sell and buy anything games related basically. A must visit local shop.
