I’ve got to start reading reviews and avoiding companies that don’t respond to them. Employees began by following me around and then passive-aggressively moving things off the counter I approached. An unfortunately common experience as a black guy in nerd spaces. They then spent most of my time here talking loudly about customers and other store employees they don’t get along with. Very uncomfortable for a travelling buyer and not something I’ve encountered in my years of purchasing. They counted things out of their .50 rare box as a dollar, their bulk was completely out of sort, and so several cards were silently charged as dollar rares despite being in the .35 uncommons, and the shift lead Michael was very unskillful about handling it, leading the conversation with "Uh well my count is right" in peak Redditor tone. After adjusting the price downward by about a tenth of what he should have because I wasn’t about to fight him for $20 of bulk rares I’m using for a cube charged at $1 instead of .50, he continued with strangely passive aggressive commentary about how his count had been right despite the poorly sorted cards that had to be removed from the overall price. Very glad I’m not from this area and don’t need to come back here. There are other shops in the area, so unless you’re playing a niche game, I’d advise checking things out elsewhere.

Came in this shop to check it out now judging they had a few thing of interest though over priced I could handle but what became the most annoying was the chick behind the counter. I just dropped 160.35 and since I was a first time customer I asked 4 a slice of the 35 cents and keep in mind some of the cards I was buying where 3rd hand cards but rudely she said bluntly "NO." Like wow way to make me ever want to come back for further business let alone refer u to anyone. Good luck to ya.

I've been to GU Mequon multiple times to pick up miniatures, paints, and other gaming supplies, and I have generally had a great experience. However, I recently decided to join their D&D Discord. I thought it would be OK to ask if anyone there wanted to join a new D&D game, and I was immediately banned from the server! Someone else in the server had to let me know that they added a new rule *after the fact* against advertising for games. I got no warning, no explanation. There are other game stores in town with good stock which don't have unspoken, draconian rules in their online community. I'm passing on GU until something changes there.

Pokemon product gets marked up by 20+ of market. We have visited multiple times while standing near the counter, and not a single staff has said hello to us, or asked us if we want to see anything, or need help at all. Disappointing customer service, do not recommend.

Store-wise, up to snuff. I'm leaving this review for the staff. Stellar. They're professional yet personable, and always putting the customer first even when faced with challenges. Checkout not working? They're using the other one at double the speed and helping customers figure things out. Short staffed? They're up front about it, but don't let it stop them from doing their best service.
