Went in here. Got a “Hey” on the way in. Looked around for a bit. Went up to the cashier and he’s deep into a sandwich on his phone. I just asked if he was on lunch and he was like “Yeah” so I’m awkwardly waiting to just ask someone else if people play a certain ruleset of magic here. While waiting, what seemed to be a GM was on the phone and was talking to an applicant saying that adults with a college degree get started at $12/hr. Decided to leave. With card shops it’s really an intimate choice especially how bad tcg has gotten. People getting paid more creates a better environment for both casual gift shoppers and dedicated players. Prices were also dumb but we all knew that anyways.

Really love this place. Ive been coming here for years with my partner for dnd and vtm stuff. I took my 11 year old sister to 5 below and they had a little Pokémon binder page that she was thrilled to open, but it didnt come with a binder. I offered to take her to get a binder and some cards to start a collection, and she REALLLY wanted a binger that had pokemon on it. we went to four different stores, she was in tears, I called Game universe ahead of time and he said they didnt have any Pokémon decorated ones, but she was down to go look at the other ones they had anyways. There was one kinda stuck under another that had Pokémon on it, and she was ecstatic!! I grabbed a couple cheaper perfect order packs for her too, im not super well off but I wanted to help her fill a page or two, and when we got to the counter they gave her a bunch of free starter cards and a league play pack to start her off! shes super excited, almost filled up 7 whole pages and is ready to start her collection. yall really saved some tears today and made some smiles. she really likes her leaf!

I really wanted to like this store because I love supporting local businesses but I can't recommend buying from scalpers. The first red flag when I walked in was seeing Pokemon card boxes (ETBs) marked at $210+ when retail price is $50 and even market price is $150. I understand the need to make a profit but that's just crazy! I saw the owner responded to some other reviews calling this out with the excuse that they need to buy from resellers; it's honestly pretty shady that they are supporting other scalpers so that they can scalp for even higher and this is only encouraging prices to go up. I thought maybe the single cards would be better priced, but I made a huge mistake there too. I bought a card that I thought was an ok price, only to realize after I bought it that the language was different and so I had ended up paying almost triple the market value of a near mint copy... for a card that was moderately played. I hadn't left the store but the workers said no returns/refunds; I understand this policy and that this was my mistake for not noticing this sooner, but at the same time, I don't think a game store should be taking advantage of people like this. Could you imagine being oblivious to these prices and buying something for your kid only to get totally ripped off because you just didn't know? I just wanted to spread awareness on this so others don't make the same mistake I did. You are better off supporting your local card shows and the honest hobbyists who are often more than happy to help out fans and make a deal. Please don't support the scalping!

I LOVE THIS STORE!! Hands Down my favorite place to go! I live an hour away and drive past many card stores just to make it to this one! EVERY EMPLOYEE IS AWESOME! I usually go and hang out for 3 hours while I view their binders, find something I like, then go through my stuff I bought and propose a trade! They pretty much give you the amount you would get if you sold it on Ebay yourself! Except you don't have to worry about shipping, customer service, and returns! I even once sold them a slab that I traded to them for $25, it sold on my ebay the next day for $75, and I called the store and only had to pay $40 to get it back. Basically they offer very fair prices and they base it off what they bought it for, and that gives you the opportunity to snipe some cool cards that may be on an incline! Most importantly, they have stuff priced out, again to promote you to actually come into the store and snipe some cool pickups! Not how some stores are starting to do it where they don't price anything and then just look up TCG player prices! (That is no fun, and gives you no reason to go into the store) Everytime I go there I work out a $200-300 deal/trade and leave with the biggest smile on my face! I appreciate yall! Thank you foe being my happy place to have a good time with some like minded cool peeps!

Okay I went in here not knowing what it was expecting something different. found a gem that anybody in the dungeons and dragons is going to love. I would have given it a five-star but it did seem a little short on inventory. Give this place some love and let's let them be able to expand their selection!
